Amazing! - This is a must do if it’s your first time in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. They pick you up at your hotel around 8:30 am. Francisco was our tour guide and he was amazing! Very friendly and detailed on giving the history of the city. We started to go to Ron Macorix Rum house, then downtown where we did the chocolate tasting, then toured downtown (church, cigar, stores and more) . This took half the day and well worth it. Learned so much and took so many pictures. Highly recommend this company! Very professional.

Our Day in Puerto Plata - Franciso was our tour guide and he was good. The itinerary was right on point, however at most stops there was sale pitch to buy something. I wish that the company had a tour that tells the true history of Puerto Plata and the Dominican Republic.

Over priced for a sales pitch.. could have hired a taxi for 40$ and get the same - Felt like a constant sales pitch the downtown was nice but hire a taxi at the resort for a fraction of the price.. hard to negotiate on online

Don’t waste your time. - Was not much of a tour at all. Went from tourist trap to tourist trap-retail rum shop with tasting and video, local jeweler, local cigar maker (interesting if you are in to cigars- we were not), retail chocolate shop with very small piece of chocolate tasting and tourist small demo, on how chocolate is made, souvenier shop and drive to outside of an old fort. Admission inside the fort not included. Most of the tours all went to these same retail tourist traps where I assume the drivers earn extra commission from taking tourists there. Our driver was very nice and provided a little history, but overall, did not learn much and was totally underwhelmed as this was not really a tour at all.
