Great experience. - Very professional. Operator sent us a very clear instructions on where to meet and what to expect. It’s a heck of a hike to get to the falls and I don’t recommend it for someone who’s out of shape.

Exhausting but exhilarating! - Let everyone know it is quite a hike up to the place where you do the natural cave waterslides. They say 20 minutes but it was more like an hour straight up. Some steps some hiking trails.

Great - My husband enjoyed it the most even with all the hiking in the beginning. It is worth it once you get to all the beautiful waterfalls. I walked with my babies the shorter route but I was able to enjoy the last fall.

Beware - Must Read! - Exactly what we wanted! So fun, you have to do this tour. The tour van was right where it was supposed to be. Easy walk from the port, nice ride, offered water and discussed a little bit about the area. The walk to the falls was fun and not bad at all. The falls were great. You have to jump off the platform, I climbed back up and did it twice. But no worries if you don't want to jump, there is another alternative, you slide down. Very safe and beautiful journey. Wear some type of water shoe you can walk in, take band aids to cover little toe or area you think might blister. Again, not a bad walk but if you buy new shoes be warned. Then onto lunch, I can't talk about the food enough. It was so good, actually no was delicious. The store was nice to see local goods and with no real pressure to purchase. 3 improvement suggestions - 1. This is for customers. Please get off the ship asap and go to the pickup point. We were there plenty early and was still beat there by 2 young ladies. We all had to wait for a family who was late and that affected the falls, lunch and time back. Please think of others and get there on time. 2. They do take pictures if you want to leave your camera behind. Out of the 3 groups, 2 purchased we did not. I may have if it was a little cheaper. To tour group, make it a little cheaper and you may sell more. 3. Tour Group you're too nice :) The girls sitting behind us were whispering leave, just leave and we were laughing but you waited for the family. Just kidding, you did the right thing so don't change. Was great time and we would do it again and recommend it to others if we know they are going to the DR. I'll try to post pictures later.

Damaguas the thrilling and beautiful - Jonathan with Dr prime tours took us up to see the beautiful damaguas. We truly fell in love with this area and the staff! The hike was not strenuous for us but others did find it a bit challenging. The hardest part of the hike is that you are wearing water shoes. We brought our own from home and highly recommend you do as well, but they do have some to rent if not. The zip lines provided beautiful views from above the water and landscapes. They were in quick sessions and short but provided fun and ease of travel to the falls. The waterfalls were fun and unique with lots of thrills of slides and jumps. The lunch at the tour was delious. I would say this tour is an absolute must.

Excursion tour - From the moment we were picked up and up until we got dropped off we received excellent customer service, our tour guides were phenomenal. Though it says a 30-45 minute hike it was all worth it in the end once we got to get in the water. The jump was 18 ft deep and was amazing. Being able to do the multiple slides was great, the food that was provided was really good. Everyone in my group had a great time.

Amazing Dominican lunch and experience! Great value! - My family and I took this excursion in August 2025, and we returned from it with mixed feelings. Overall, I would recommend though it because it offered a truly unique experience for a reasonable price. I was nervous about finding the company outside of the cruise port, but we had no trouble because they texted me a map in advance and were wearing shirts clearly labeled "DR PRIME TOURS." We had to make one extra stop to meet up with some other people on the tour who were coming from a hotel, but that was not an issue and didn't take too long. When we arrived at Damajagua, our main tour guide Daniella was helpful in getting us set up to make the trek to the waterfalls and directed us to where we could rent shoes ($2). The waterfalls were amazing, but our small group got meshed in with another group and so we didn't get as much attention/help as we wanted from our waterfall guides (Tony and Blondie, who did the best they could with such a large group and were very friendly). Luckily, our paparazzi Jonathan helped us navigate the falls and stay with our group. When it came time to go over the largest of the falls, we were rushed, not being given a chance to see whether we wanted to jump or slide. After such a long trek and stopping for other people to catch up, it would have been nice to have a minute at that final point. Despite these few flaws, the waterfalls were a great experience that we will always remember. Next, we stopped for lunch. Although I didn't catch the name of the restaurant where we ate, I would try to find it again if went back to the DR! The food consisted of a buffet-style lunch of white rice, beans, chicken, pork, salad, dirty rice, and garlic bread as well as avocado salad and fried plantains served at the table. We also had a choice of soda or beer. It was AMAZING! I only wish we had a little more time to eat. The BIG DISAPPOINTMENT of our excursion was the last stop, which the tour described as being at a chocolate factory/plantation. That stop was part of the reason I choose this tour over others for my family because I thought my kids would like to see the chocolate-making process and taste the chocolate. However, the place we stopped at was primarily focused on cigar-making, which was not as relevant to me or my family, as we do not smoke. It was interesting to hear the process and see the men rolling cigars but wasn't what we expected. Inside a warehouse-like shop, they did have tastings of mamajuana, coffee, and 1 type of chocolate, but we couldn't even tell what we were tasting if we wanted to buy it. They also had some nice larimar and amber jewelry for sale--but we didn't feel pressured or obligated to buy. Overall, this was a good excursion for the price and we enjoyed our time in the DR with Daniella, Jonathan, and William (our driver). I just wish that the tour description was a little more accurate or that we had visited the chocolate plantation as advertised.
