Maimon - The fun adventure starts just 10 minutes from Amber Cove and 30 minutes from Taino Bay in a small village called Maimon.
At the home base you will get your gear and a few safety instructions before you head off into the countryside.
The tour starts with driving through the small local village Maimon. You will explore the Dominican nature and culture with a stop at an authentic little cigar rolling shack where you learn about cigars, sample of organic hot chocolate and coffee. There is a stop at a local beach where you can go for a swim if you would like to.
Please remember to wear clothes that you don’t care about, because you will get dusty and dirty.

The journey begins with a traverse through the small community of Maimon. Here, you can immerse yourself in the Dominican landscape and traditions with a break at a charming, modest cigar rolling hut. Acquaint yourself with the art of cigar making, while also having a taste of pure hot cocoa and coffee. The stopover also has a tiny storefront where you can buy local merchandise.
The itinerary includes a pause at a nearby beach where you have the optional activity of taking a dip.
Don’t forget to dress in attire you do not mind getting messy, as it’s very likely you will end up covered in dust and dirt.
