- Torres del Paine National Park - The journey continues to the entrance of the Park.
- Lake Pehoé - Within the Park, visitors can explore turquoise lakes like Pehoé and Nordenskjold, as well as waterfalls and ice-capped mountains. A 15-minute walk inside the park is required to reach Salto Grande.
The initial natural sights approaching the park include: Sarmiento Lake viewpoint, Torres del Paine, Cuernos del Paine, and Cerro Almirante Nieto. The most commonly seen wildlife includes guanaco, ñandú, and condor, along with less frequently observed animals such as foxes, hares, chincol, and the American lion: the Puma.
- Nordenskjold Lake - Lake Nordenskjold, a pristine treasure within the stunning landscapes of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, offers a captivating mix of tranquility and natural beauty.
Named after Swedish geologist Otto Nordenskjold, this glacial lake features a striking deep blue color that mirrors the sky and surrounding mountains, creating a mesmerizing visual experience. Fed by the Paine River, the lake’s waters originate from the melting ice of the majestic Paine Massif, adding a touch of purity to its charm.
- Laguna Amarga - Laguna Amarga, a serene and captivating natural feature, enhances the landscape of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. Its name, meaning “Bitter Lagoon,” hints at the unique character of this remarkable body of water.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Paine Massif, Laguna Amarga presents a picturesque contrast between its calm surface and the rugged, imposing peaks that surround it. The lake’s waters, often reflecting the intense blue of the Patagonian sky, offer a reflective sanctuary amid the wilderness.
While its name may suggest bitterness, Laguna Amarga’s beauty is anything but. The subtle play of light on the lake’s surface, especially during sunrise and sunset, transforms it into a canvas of ever-changing colors, inviting visitors to pause and absorb the magic of the moment.
- Cerro Castillo - During the journey, there will be a delightful stop at a charming rustic general store in Cerro Castillo. Here, guests can enjoy a comforting cup of coffee, use clean and well-maintained restrooms, and indulge in a delicious snack.
- Punta Arenas - Finally, the journey concludes with a return to the hotel in Punta Arenas, a 5-hour drive.
