• Cerro Castillo - Depart from your accommodation in Puerto Natales to Villa Cerro Castillo, the capital of the Torres del Paine commune, located 59 kilometers north. The 45-minute drive offers a perfect opportunity to discuss and interpret the diverse landscapes, including lush Magellan forests, glacial valleys, mountain ranges, and lakes. Weather permitting, you may spot condors in their nesting areas along the route.
• Lago Sarmiento - Continue to the Sarmiento Lake viewpoint for the first photo opportunity, offering a view of the Paine Mountain Range. With favorable weather, enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Torres del Paine mountain range, the southern Andes, and the stunning Sarmiento Lake.
• Laguna Amarga - Proceed to a significant site with one of the most breathtaking views of the granite towers. This location is the Laguna Amarga viewpoint, a preferred habitat for flamingos, which thrive in the ideal feeding conditions here.
• Nordenskjold Lake - The journey continues to the main entrance of Torres del Paine National Park, where entrance tickets will be registered. Visit Nordenskjöld Lake, Salto Grande Viewpoint, Pehoé Viewpoint, Weber Bridge, Paine River, and Grey Lake. At Grey Lake, enjoy time for lunch (not included in the rate) and explore the area, weather permitting.
• Grey Lake - Return to the vehicle to exit Torres del Paine National Park via the southern section. The final stop in front of Torres del Paine is at the impressive Grey Viewpoint on the Y-290 route. From here, observe the mountains dominating the western province, the vast Toro Lake, and, if weather allows, a glimpse of the Grey Glacier.
• Cueva del Milodon - After an hour’s drive, reach the highlight of the day, the Milodon Cave Natural Monument. This protected area is the second most visited in the Magallanes region after Torres del Paine National Park.
