Last minute snorkeling trip - It was a beautiful day with no winds after three very windy days, so we decided today was the day for snorkeling. We booked and left from Dive Bar, steps from our accommodations and had an amazing day. Craig and Olaf each led one of the 2 “dives”. We saw lobster, many beautiful fish, parrot fish, tangs, barracuda, and Olaf led us to spend some time watching an amazing green turtle. Great trip with my 80+ year old father who taught me to snorkel when we were kids. Highly recommend!

Excellent in all respects - The tour company was organized, efficient and friendly. Craig was very helpful getting everyone geared up. Two block walk to the boat and Capt. Acapulco Joe. Smooth and easy 10 minutes to the reef sight. The next 70 minutes included six turtles, five rays, a shark, multitudes of barracuda and more varieties of fish than you could count. A four hour trip would just be more time on the boat and couldn’t be better snorkeling. Easy return and then advice from Craig on other free snorkeling spots, food suggestions and help with an Uber. All around excellent experience with highest quality guiding.

Absolutely Perfect Snorkeling Experience - Lighthouse tours provided a great snorkeling experience for us as beginning snorkelers. Toby was amazing! When I had trouble with my mask he swapped his mask with mine so I could continue to have a great experience. Captain Joe was very conscious of our safety in the boat. We were in the water for just over an hour and Toby helped us to see barracudas, a moray eel, beautiful parrot fish, schools of jacks, and even two large sea turtles. The fact that they take you to an actual coral reef is so much better than just snorkeling off the beach - you see so much wildlife! The whole experience was perfect - not too long and not too short. I would highly recommend Lighthouse Tours for your next adventure in the Cancun-PDC-Tulum area.

The sharky shark team - The snorkeling tour is perhaps the most exciting experience you can have in Puerto Morelos and with Greg it was truly unique. He took us, after giving us all the equipment, with a small group to visit the reef. Spotted fish of all species, rays, even a beautiful sea turtle and a cat. I thank them and super recommend everyone for their sympathy and for making us feel looked after and safe. Thank you you are Top

Very good experience overall. Very worthwhile. - The snorkeling was great. Lots to see. Having a small group of only 13 snorkeling was much better than a larger group of 25 - 30. The boat ride was very quick and the conditions were well protected from the ocean swells. The staff tried to be friendly but were a little abrupt. We had our own masks and snorkel so we used their fins. I found there was not a very good choice of fins ( the ankle strap on one of my fins was partially torn and might have broken while swimming) and the staff was dismissive of my questions and concerns about the fins.

Good but not exceptional - What I liked was that it is a small group -14 people maximum- on the boat, which seems typical for the reef at Puerto Morelos. The staff were also friendly and efficient - they do 4 tours/ day so at their location there is a turn around of people & equipment every 2 hours. Actual time in the water is about an hour. There was minimal information given before heading to the boat - and no safety briefing or attention as to who had experience or not. The reef itself was OK - but is dying like reefs all over the world. We did see a good variety of sea life including a sting ray, turtle & barracudas.. This tour requires good swimming ability & the ability to get up a short ladder to get back on the boat.
