• Centro de Visitantes Istmo Carlos Ameghino (currently under renovation) - The excursion begins at 8:00 a.m. with the collection of each passenger from their accommodation. The journey then proceeds north of the city along Route Nª1, leading to this Natural Reserve.

A stop is made at the Checkpoint a few kilometers before reaching the Interpretation Center, where the entrance fee to the reserve is paid.

Following this, a guided tour of the Interpretation Center is conducted to familiarize visitors with the flora and fauna of the Patagonian environment of the Valdés Peninsula. Visitors can also ascend to the viewpoint for a panoramic view of Golfo Nuevo and Golfo San José.

Facilities at this center include restrooms and a kiosk.

• Puerto Piramides - A brief city tour of Puerto Pirámides is enjoyed to learn more about the only tourist town on the Peninsula.

During whale season (from July to the end of November), approximately 2 hours are spent here to embark on the renowned Whale Watching (Service - included in the excursion price).

This town offers gastronomic services, pantries, kiosks, and souvenir shops.

• Caleta Valdés - A gravel route is taken towards Caleta Valdés and Punta Cantor, two iconic geographical sites of the Peninsula. Visitors can walk along trails and viewpoints to observe colonies of sea lions and elephant seals.

Depending on the time of year, the colony of Magellanic Penguins (from September to March) and the majestic Orcas (from March to April and from September to November) can be seen.

Throughout the trip, there are opportunities to spot local wildlife: Armadillos, Guanacos, Maras, Foxes, among others, as well as various striking land birds such as Choiques and Martinetas, and flying birds like Petrels, Terns, Oystercatchers, Owls, Martinettes, etc.

This site offers a gastronomic and health service inn. Time is taken for lunch before returning to Puerto Madryn.

The estimated arrival time back to the city is between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
