Great staff and experience - Great experience. They waited for us when our ship arrived late. Wet suits kept us warm in the very cold water. Highly recommend.

Spectacular - Take part in this activity with my 7 year old twins. I want to highlight what a super experience this excursion was for the 3 of us. At all times the guides took care of the boys both to relax and so that I could enjoy myself without pressure.

Wonderful Tour. - It was great! The provided all the equipment and wet suit and were friendly and knowledgeable. We saw lots of sea lions on shore and had three opportunities to interact with them in the water. On time there were three by me at the same time.

Great day with Sea Lions - The tour operator was very good with communications about where to be and what to bring. The crew was very helpful in getting us ready for the excursion. Was a great experience. Our only comment is that even though it was mating season and there were not a lot of sea lions in the water, when there were there were enough people in the water that would start swimming over to the sea lion to get pictures and scare them away rather than staying still. That wasn't the tour operators' fault but made getting closer to sea lions tougher. Was glad tour took pictures when we were in the water so we have those memories. Would do it again!

Could easily have been the best excursion of the cruise but... - We were the last group allowed into the water and, paradoxically, the first asked to return to the boat. I had explicitly warned the guides about mask leakage due to my beard, but the masks provided were unsuitable and leaked constantly, forcing me to spend the entire time clearing water instead of enjoying the experience. I carefully maintained the required distance from the sea lions, following the underwater topography, while the guides themselves often got closer to the shore, taking photos, and another nearby tourist group was significantly nearer without issue. Throughout the excursion, the guides repeatedly shouted vague “come back” commands, which created confusion and made it nearly impossible to enjoy any interaction with the animals. When I asked why we were asked to return first, one guide bluntly said “because you misbehaved,” which was completely unjustified. I did everything possible to respect the rules, avoid collisions with other participants, and cope with an unfamiliar wetsuit, yet we were arbitrarily singled out and effectively punished. The constant shouting, unclear instructions, and unfair treatment ruined what should have been a highlight of the trip. I would strongly recommend future travelers consider these issues before booking, and I believe a 50% refund would be entirely justified given the poor experience and distress caused.
