Options include a walk through the scenic Puerto Ayora Port, a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station, or simply relaxing by the waterfront.
Full Day Tour to Santa Fe Island
Santa Fe Island - Today’s adventure leads to Santa Fe, known for its unique wildlife and striking volcanic landscapes adorned with giant Opuntia cacti. After a scenic boat ride, guests will enjoy two snorkeling sessions where sea lions, colorful reef fish, turtles, rays, and even reef sharks may join them. Later, relaxation awaits at Playa Escondida, where land iguanas, Galápagos hawks, finches, doves, mockingbirds, and more can be spotted. A fresh lunch will be served on board before returning to Puerto Ayora in the afternoon, around 3pm.
Bay Tour and Tortuga Bay Beach
Santa Cruz - In the morning, enjoy a guided walk to Tortuga Bay, one of the most stunning beaches in the Galápagos. After a 45-minute trail through dry forest, guests will arrive at a pristine white-sand beach, home to marine iguanas, Sally Lightfoot crabs, and shorebirds. Continue to the calm lagoon area, perfect for relaxing, swimming, or kayaking in crystal-clear waters surrounded by mangroves.
In the afternoon, embark on a Bay Tour by boat, exploring the coastline of Santa Cruz Island. Highlights include La Lobería, where sea lions gather, Las Grietas, a striking volcanic crevice with turquoise waters ideal for snorkeling, and Playa de los Perros, frequented by marine iguanas and seabirds. Snorkeling opportunities along the way offer encounters with colorful reef fish, rays, and possibly white-tipped reef sharks.
