Highlights

5/5 - Don’t go on Tuesdays because the Basilica is closed on Tuesdays. Also, if you look up the story of this Virgin Mary, there is a story related to her that talks about holy water that she gave to heal and that is not at the basilica, it’s maybe a 5-10 minute drive to get there from the church and as long as you bring your own bottle you can take as much water as you want. My mother went with me, she really wanted the water and was super pleased to go there. Our driver, David, was really great and our guide Lionel was superb, super knowledgeable about everything.
