Peaceful day away from the city - Nice, long, yet easy hike. The trail is mostly a dirt road, bit it is scenic and peaceful. A very nice way to spend a day in a beautiful place away from the city. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable. The food was very tasty, and the tour well organized. We were lucky and saw the volcano erupting.

The experience was great;... - The experience was great; we had a wonderful day at the park; the weather was perfect. It is a really beautiful hike, through different landscapes, some woods and always with great views of both volcanoes. The tour guide, Bernardo, is a great guy; always explaining everything you see. It is an activity you must do if you have the chance

We booked this tour last... - We booked this tour last minute because the tour we first booked had to reschedule, but after completing this tour I can’t imagine a better experience! The views of Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl are stunning, and our guide, Carlos, was very kind and knowledgeable. They provide you with lunch, water, a backpack, and hiking poles too, and treat you to a delicious traditional meal afterwards. The hike itself is not too difficult but you are at a high elevation (about 13,000 feet) so keep in mind how you handle altitude. We also went on a Tuesday and the trail was very empty and quiet (we only saw one other group on our hike) so if you’re worried about crowds, don’t be!

Amazing experience.... - Amazing experience. You’re well taken care of - they will provide a backpack with food and water and some hiking poles. I went in September and all I really needed was a hat, sunglasses and some hiking boots. A warm jacket will help, since it can get windy and a little cooler in the morning. The views are amazing and the hike is not too difficult. You get to choose between a 9km or 13km hike. We did the 13km hike and it was perfect. On the way back they will take you to this very authentic taco place which is really great. Take lots of photos when you’re up hiking!

Stunningly beautiful trek - A wonderful trek in the stunningly beautiful Parque Nacional Iztaccíhuatl - Popocatépetl escaping the chaos of CDMX . Friendly and knowledgeable guide, great pace and lots of rests in the high altitude which certainly helped! Good local lunch included.

Nice walk, beautiful... - Nice walk, beautiful views. Nice guide. A good experience overall. However, I’d appreciate some more information from the guide about the park, volcanos, flora and fauna. Our guide did not really talk much.
