Great tour with both guides - My partner and I booked this full-day private tour combining Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram) and Pondicherry, and it completely blew us away. If you are staying in Chennai and want a day away from the city hustle, this itinerary packs an incredible punch.

Mahabalipuram - Rajesh was kind, organized, and accommodating. He arranged and paid for all of our experiences including a knowledgeable guide at Mahabalipuram. The driver was excellent and courteous. We had a fantastic filter coffee half way to Pondicherry. We didn’t love to hard sell at the creator studio after the tour at Mahabalipuram, but we also understand that this is common practice.

Valuable tour - It makes for a long day, but packing in ancient history and peaceful French-colonial vibes in one go is totally worth it. Highly recommend booking a reliable cab for the day!

Great day trip from Chennai! - It’s a long day, but the contrast between the UNESCO ruins in Mahabalipuram and the vibrant French Quarter in Pondicherry is incredible. The Highlights: • Mahabalipuram: The rock carvings at Arjuna’s Penance are world-class, and the Shore Temple is a stunning photo op. • Pondicherry: Walking through the yellow-walled streets of the French Quarter feels like a quick trip to Europe. Very chill vibes.

Touring made easy - I would definitely recommend this tour. As first time visitors, the guide made navigating new areas very easy: pick up directly from our hotel, dropping off at sites, organizing lunch, etc. Our guide Rajesh was very knowledgeable and accommodating!

Wonderful historical sites of southern India - The guides were very friendly. It was an enjoyable drive along the coastline. The temples were particularly interesting. It’s worth noting it is a long day. Also if you are a woman, note that you will be travelling solo with two males so ensure this suits your needs.
