We start our journey from Pucón by car to 1,400 meters above sea level where we begin to walk and live our experience; We will be ascending approximately 5 hours in the direction of the summit of Villarrica Volcano (in Mapudungún: Ruka Pillán, House of Spirits) and descending 3 hours. In this route we will be able to appreciate the different volcanoes that will surround us, the marks of the eruptions in our surroundings, landscapes with a view of Lake Villarrica and much more. The objective will be to enjoy each step of the ascent towards the summit that rises to 2,847 meters above sea level.

Great experience with an amazing guide! - Our experience was really amazing!! The tour was well planned and our guide Juan was simply the best. He explained everything super well, found a great rythm for the whole group and was super kind and fun too!!
We can only recommend doing a tour with the company since they really care about their guests and the experience is very unique. Thank you again very much!!

Fantastic - Climbing Volcano Villarrica with Rutas Outdoor was a great experience! The guide Juan was very pleasant and friendly. Nice local business with good price. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes a challenge.

Would recommend 100% - We took the tour to climb volcano Villarica and were lucky enough to just be a group of 2 people (they do small groups anyway). It was perfect throughout. Juan guided us perfectly, had a great pacing and timing, while always taking care of our needs and even took many pictures. He answered all our questions and told us about the nature and mountains. Would recommend 100%.

The best experience - No January 8th, my partner and I climbed Villarrica Volcano with RutasOutdoor. We booked in advance, and the whole process was smooth, well-organized, and very affordable compared to other companies.
The day of the hike was absolutely incredible. We climbed with Guide Juanzito, who has the most adventurous spirit we’ve ever seen. He was attentive to every single step we took, always making sure we felt safe, supported, and excited throughout the entire experience.
The descent was honestly the best part — a truly unique experience, and I genuinely believe everyone on Earth deserves to live it at least once (haha). On top of that, the jokes and great energy along the way, combined with the guide’s impressive knowledge, made the whole adventure even more unforgettable.

Unforgettable experience! - We made the ascent to the Villarrica volcano with the guide Juan and it was amazing! He is very experienced and kind, in addition to having taken beautiful photos of ours. It was clearly a more attentive guide than those of other companies. I highly recommend Outdoors Rutes and the tour. A hug to Juan and Blas!

It couldn't have been better - It was just an incredible experience. The guides were always on the move and made sure everyone reached the top safely. With small hints and tips, the group dynamics were perfected, attention was always paid to safety. Unlike other agencies, safety exercises should be conducted by all participants. I've always really felt in good hands.
Finally, we got a nice surprise and continued for a long time with
to the guides. Extremely sympathetic people :) I would always book with the agency.
We had the opportunity to book a lift for 20,000 CLP and skip the first HM.

Excellent - We had a wonderful ascent of Villarica. Our guide Juan was super nice and mega committed to keeping us out of the big tourist crowds. We were a small group (only 2 people). We learned later that the groups at this agency are probably a maximum of 6 people.
The advice on site was unfortunately only possible by phone, as at the time we were there only the kitchen was occupied, but we are still very glad to have booked here.

Ascent Villaricca - We had the best experience climbing volcano Villaricca with Rutas outdoors! A great local company with smaller groups (we were with 4 people). Juan, Carlos and Agustín were amazing guides who made us feel safe and made us laugh and enjoy the whole experience. You could tell they love what they do and value and respect the beautiful nature of this place. We also got some delicious smoothies, fruit and sweets after. 1000% would recommend them out of all the tour companies here!

Great experience with top professionals - Incredible experience with the best professionals.
Blas, Juan, Andrea and Augustine guided us on our ascent to the crater of the villarrica volcano.
New equipment and in perfect condition.
They explained perfectly what we would do on the expedition and prepared us for the smooth ascent.
Very good atmosphere always.
We highly recommend them.
