Great and knowledgeable - This was a great tour our drive was wonderful and very informative. She answered even the stupid questions that we had. I would tell anyone to work with this tour company.

Memorable tour of Montemor-e-novo! - We did a tour of Montemor-e-novo castle and town, including the market and festival, with Pedro, and had a wonderful time. We had lunch at Pedro’s family’s restaurant, A Ribeira, and loved the food and festive, friendly atmosphere. The highlight was when Pedro’s father-in-law got on a table and sang the menu. Pedro also arranged for us to do a tour of the Escoural Caves before he drove us to our hotel in Lisbon. We very much appreciated this tour because it gave us a glimpse of real life in an Alentejo town. I highly recommend Burriscas Adventure tours! All the best to Pedro and his family!!

Incredible tour with to Chromlech, Great Dolmen, and Grutas do Eacoural - Our family had an incredible day with Pedro from Burriscas Adventures. He took us to all of the archaeological sites, Chromlech, the Great Dolmen, burial tomb, and grutas do Escoural. He is so knowledgeable, super friendly, accommodating, and one of the best guides we’ve had in all of Portugal. As a bonus, we went to his father-in-law’s traditional Portuguese restaurant —Restaurante A Ribeira, —for lunch, which is amazing. It’s whole family business and his father-in-law sings the entire menu. We would highly recommend this full-day activity to anyone who is interested in meaningfully connecting to the history, culture, and nature of this beautiful area between. Evora and Montemor-o Novo…. Can’t thank Pedro enough!!!!

Primitive art cave - What a great experience! Pick up our hotel, transportation to caves with historic and cultural explanations. Once at the cave, the state guide provided detailed explanations of the primitive art we saw. We also were taken afterwards to the Interpretive Center which was small but provided large photographs of what we saw in the cave. This was nice since we weren’t allowed to take photographs. Pleasant ride back to hotel.

Burriscas Adventures is great! - Pedro, our very friendly guide, picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the Escoural Caves. There we had a very interesting and pleasant guided tour by Sonja. Afterwards Pedro drove us to The Experience Centre and back to us hotel. During the ride hé told us a lot of interesting information. He also gave us some suggestions about the the Portuguese kitchen. We enjoyed it very much.

Visit was interesting and... - Visit was interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot. The rock art as such was very subtle and not very numerous. It might be good to include some of the artifacts that we first found in the visit. The interpretation center was very nice. Thelma (our driver) was great.
