Very good experience - Passionate instructor, very good explanations, adapt to the level of each.
We each took turns diving.
We had already done the dive but have no certificate so it was a discovery dive.
We saw a lot of fish, a ray, a turtle.
The instructor had a gopro and we were able to retrieve the videos at the end.
I highly recommend!

First time Scuba Diving and our experience was wonderful and positive - This was our first time Scuba Diving and our experience was wonderful and positive. Our group was diverse, with people from different ages (74, 46, 12, 10) and our instructor Luciano was not only very attentive but careful as well. He dived individually with each of us to ensure our safety and that everyone had the opportunity to develop their skills. We highly recommend it! Thank you Luciano for a wonderful experience!

Nice first experience where you could also dive into the ocean. We have seen many colorful fish! - We don't have to practice in a swimming pool first, we got a good explanation and were immediately allowed to go into the sea. The instructor made sure he was never further than 1 m from the diver. So very ideal for a first time further, he made bits of video if that was justified and we just got it for free on our phone.
He also gave our daughter good instructions including how to better maintain her diving mask she already had at home. This meant that she did not end up buying a new diving mask but could use her own diving mask better, so no commercial approach at all, but a lot of heart for the profession.

Professionalism and sympathy - The professionalism and sympathy of Pedro Gomes and his team are beyond doubt. They treated the group of 22 teenagers who were starting out in the diving world very well. We were at the Naval Club of Funchal, where we could enjoy all its facilities. The experience was unforgettable for all of them and it is all due to the good work of the Scorpio team. I hope to share with them new underwater adventures in the not too distant future.

Quality Diving - Highly recommended. Dive center in the area of Caniçal with very interesting diving spots nearby, lots of life and with Miguel, luxury instructor.
We dived two days with him, one from land and one by boat.
The center and equipment are top notch, the boat new and the most comfortable.
Miguel always cares about offering safe, quality and fun dives, always watching for everything to go well.
We will repeat without a doubt!!

Great dive experience! - Went on 2 open water dives in the house reef with Miguel. He was really professional and took the time to explain everything very well (and takes great photos). The reef is fun to dive with a few caves, lot of different colourful fish, crustaceans, octopus and anemones. Overall it was a great experience!

Great professional - Miguel the instructor at all times transmits a lot of security and tranquility giving you your time to catch up with him , the area is very quiet and with a seabed with great surprises.

Great experience - A very pleasant experience, it was the first time we did diving, and our instructor Miguel, made it very enjoyable and very close, always adapting to our rhythm.

Friendly professionals - We spent our holidays in the end of January and we were searching for diving for three days. Only this club answered the phone and finaly we did three dives with them. We are non experienced divers and in the begining our instructor Miguel revised our knowledge. Then we made first dive near the center on the twelve meters for one hour and then two dives on the eighteen meters. One of them was not far from the center and one in the national resort Garasau, where we saw a lot of grupper, trumpet, barracuda and other fish. It was amazing experience. Also Miguel made some photos during the dives and sent them to us for free. We rented all the equipment and it was good. We didn't have any problems. Also they provide dive courses with exercises right in the ocean, not in the swimming pool. We had two very nice days with them. I recommend this center for beginers and experienced divers. They are kind friendly professionals.

3 days of Great diving - Having been let down by another dive center in Funchal, I approached Scorpio Madeira who arrange 3 days of diving with 2 dives per day. The first day I was picked up at the Hotel in Funchal and taken to their dive center at Ribeira de Nata near Caniçal.The 2 dives there were in crystal clear waters with plenty of life. Great for my photography.
The following day we went to Praia do Garajau with a stony beach, here we encountered 3 large gropers and again plenty of life. Nice to have a coffee between dives in the beach cafe.
On the last day we had 2 dives off the large rib on a couple of sea mounts. Although the dives were deeper and I started to feel quite cold they were slightly less impressive than the 2 days of shore dives. As we departed back to the dive center we were greeted by a couple of turtles.
Center had good quality equipment and both owner and instructor were both excellent at making me feel very welcome.
Definitely recommend Scorpio Madeira. Thank you.
