Bravura Lake, nestled below the Monchique hills near Aljezur, is among the region’s most tranquil and picturesque paddling spots. After several dry years, the lake has returned to full capacity, providing exceptional water levels and excellent conditions for the upcoming season — a rare chance to witness this landscape at its finest.

Encircled by lush eucalyptus and pine forests, the lake meanders through winding valleys, forming multiple arms and serene inlets, creating a breathtaking emerald-colored panorama.

The excursion commences in a sheltered inlet before smoothly transitioning onto the open lake towards the Barragem wall. Along the journey, participants will enjoy calm, warm waters ideal for swimming, relaxing breaks, and learning enjoyable paddle skills such as pivot turns, balance exercises, or headstands.
