Great experience for those looking for a thrill and those who like to chill - This was an outstanding experience! My 16, 14 and 12 year olds loved the cliff jumping! They like pretty extreme jumps and this satisfied them. I am a bit more cautious and even I felt safe and had a lot of fun! The wet suits keep you really warm and comfortable! Thanks to our two excellent guides for such a fun time!!!

Great experience :-) - We discovered coastering with Diogo and Eduardo. We were with two teenagers aged 12 and 16. We were very well looked after. It was a bit of a thrill at times, but always safe. Everyone loved it!

Fantastic! - We had an amazing time with Basaltic Azores Adventures! We were a family of four, with two adults and two young adults aged 18 and 20, and we all absolutely loved the experience. The coasteering was so much fun, exciting, and very well organized. Our guide, Diogo, was incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel safe throughout the whole activity while encouraging us to challenge ourselves. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting São Miguel. Thank you, Diogo, for such a fantastic adventure!

Our new favorite sport! - We went in with one expectation: jumping off cliffs. What we got was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that exceeded anything we imagined—and I may have even discovered my new favorite sport.
We booked a private tour with Diogo, which made the experience even more special. Coasteering was equal parts adrenaline and awe: climbing rugged volcanic cliffs, swimming through powerful currents, scrambling over rocks, and taking some incredible jumps into the ocean. It pushed us out of our comfort zone in the best possible way, and we felt completely safe the entire time.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience in the Azores, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Fun in Azores - We had a lot of fun at this activity! Our guide Rodrigo was amazing. He was very helpful, informative, and patient. Despite the cloudy weather, the water was clear and beautiful. Although the water was cold, they provided wetsuits which made it not only bearable, but also enjoyable. We got to jump from different places, but beware there is some climbing/walking on the rocks involved. Overall a very fun activity if you are adventurous, providing a different and unique way to explore the ocean around Agua de Pau.

Unforgettable memories - What an incredible coasteering experience in São Miguel, Azores! This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip and an absolute must-do for anyone visiting the island.
The adventure was beyond my expectations from start to finish. It was packed with fun, adrenaline, and excitement, with plenty of jumps, climbs, and breathtaking coastal scenery. Despite the thrill, I felt completely safe throughout the entire experience thanks to Rodrigo and his amazing team.
Rodrigo and the team were incredibly friendly, professional, and encouraging, making everyone feel comfortable and confident regardless of experience level. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and focus on safety allowed us to fully enjoy the adventure without any worries.
