- Spiaggia di Cala Cipolla - The colors are breathtaking. Visiting the beach is a cherished tradition for both locals and visitors. You’ll understand why Chia’s coves and beaches are renowned. Time permitting, you can visit up to five of the most beautiful coves, depending on how long you spend at each. If you opt for the private tour, you can choose to linger at one cove or skip another if you prefer. One of the bays you’ll visit is Cala Cipolla, where you can admire the Capo Spartivento lighthouse.
- Faro di Capo Spartivento - Constructed in 1854 by the Italian Navy, the Capo Spartivento Lighthouse was one of twenty lighthouses commissioned by Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy, whose wrought-iron initials still adorn the entrance. Targeted by American planes during World War II, it was restored only once, immediately after the war. It housed lighthouse keepers until the 1980s when automation made their roles redundant. It remained forgotten for over 30 years until 2006, when it began a new chapter. A transformation that started years ago, a childhood dream set aside for a long time, an ambitious project realized through passion and dedication. Today, with its guiding light still shining, Faro Capo-Spartivento is Italy’s first and only lighthouse converted into a guest house: a project praised by the Italian Navy as an exemplary military architectural restoration.
- Malfatano Beach - This cove is one of the best snorkeling spots in South Sardinia. Your guide can provide snorkeling gear, or you can bring your own, or simply relax on the sand. Malfatano is another fantastic beach, perfect for families with children due to its calm waters, offering stunning views of Capo Malfatano bay. Tuerredda is among the area’s most beautiful beaches, also offering excellent snorkeling. Restroom facilities are available at some beaches (Cala Cipolla, Tuerredda, and Malfatano), though some may be basic.
- Cala Antoni Areddu - Your guide will be happy to offer suggestions. Throughout your Chia experience, your guide will share stories, history, and tales about the area, making your visit as personalized as possible. Enjoy the picturesque scenery on your return to the hotel after a relaxing day on Chia and Teulada beaches! If you choose to stop for lunch, you can dine (not included) at a seaside restaurant in Capo Malfatano.
