Wonderful wines, even better hospitality! - My partner and I had an amazing time at the Winery. The wines are spectacular and our host was so knowledgeable and passionate about the process… it really added to the whole experience! As novice wine tasters, we can’t wait to learn more and would definitely recommend going to Cesani for authentic, warm Italian hospitality!

Beautiful views, beautiful wine. Worth the visit! - This was a great tasting and tour of Cesani winery, the location is stunning with panoramic views across the beautiful landscape. It was interesting to see the equipment needed for harvesting the grapes and the process of making their wines. We tried 5 different wines, paired with local cheeses which we loved. The wines were very reasonably priced in the shop so we also bought some to take home with us! Thanks to Marialuisa who helped us sort out transport there and back from San Gimignano as well.

Wine tour - Beautiful scenery - set in the most picturesque part of the Tuscan country side. Informative re wine making & grape types & the Tuscan geography/ history. Delicious wines / a good variety & served with great nibbles. Friendly & informative staff. All in all a very interesting afternoon. Good value for money.

Viva vino - Informative and in a relaxed atmosphere, the wines were paired with the charcuterie board and worked really well. Very hot day and beautiful tasting area would definitely benefit from fans/air con.

True Tuscan Agriturismo Experience - My wife and I stayed at Cesani for 5 nights in May. We can’t say enough about how amazing the overall experience was. Family pride is evident in every corner of Cesani’s Agriturismo. Marialouisa and her sister Letizia work tirelessly to ensure guests have a top-notch experience. The grounds of the property are a charming and rustic, Tuscan country backdrop with stunning views of Certaldo and San Gimignano. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed and we loved having our own private patio for morning coffee. Our wine tasting experience at Cesani was great! Antonio lead us through the tasting and is highly knowledgeable and passionate about the wine making process at Cesani. It was a great experience and tasty too!! There are two highly ranked restaurants within walking distance from Cesani and Marialouisa is helpful in making reservations for guests. Highly recommend dinner at either spot. The breakfast ant Cesani each morning is exceptional with a wide array of fresh, local and delicious offerings. We can’t say enough about our experience here! We would return in a heartbeat!

Reviews about wine tasting - We visited Biker for wine tasting, the place is beautiful and surrounded by green vineyards. We tasted several high-quality wines, all the wines were delicious and you can feel the quality of the vines. The woman who gave the workshop was so nice! She explained in detail about each wine in a patient manner. Definitely recommend the place.

Providing the typical Tuscany experience! - All the staff and the family running the Agriturismo are lovely, very helpful and responsive. The wine was great and affordable if you fancy a glass. The breakfast spread is wonderful, a lovely view and worth the 7 euro if that suits you! As a solo traveller on an extended trip, I opted to bring some food as well which I was able to store in the mini fridge in my room and use the kettle for some thrown together meals. There are also restaurants nearby for dinner that are an easy short walk away but only open for dinner. Best to have a car in the area for easier arrival in general (otherwise about 6.5 hike up into the hills - almost thought I was brave enough with my 5 week pack). If you arrive by train there's a list of taxi #'s posted on the station door/pole. I'd recommend using google or trying to book before hand in case they are too busy the day of. Cheaper taxi arriving from Certaldo rather than Poggibonsi (~20 euro instead of 30-40 euro from Poggi) if you're choosing a train stop. Google said there area busses however they run 1 - 2 x per day typically super early or afternoon as they run for the students in the area - I opted to pay the 20 euro for a taxi instead. I used Rocco to/from Certaldo and he was great!!
