Depending on the group, more accessible routes can be arranged, especially if children are present. Accompanied by our expertly trained truffle-hunting dogs, explore paths through open fields, forests, or along rivers, depending on the season and the type of truffle being sought. Participants will learn about the various types of truffles, the terrains where they thrive, and the reasons behind their locations. Our dogs, Lord and Lea, will demonstrate two distinct methods of truffle hunting, providing insight into why truffles are so valuable and thrilling to find. During the summer, the search focuses on the scorzone black truffle in open fields and forests. In autumn, the quest for the rare and highly coveted white truffle will lead you through breathtaking landscapes, forests, and along rivers, sometimes requiring river crossings.

Embark on a journey with us through the hills of Assisi as we hunt for truffles, one of nature’s most precious and singular gifts. Our well-trained dogs will demonstrate their expertise in unearthing this celebrated ‘black gold’ from the soil. As we wander through forests and along trails, you will experience first-hand the exceptional bond between nature and our dogs – Lord and Lea. Light scents and hidden signs will guide you and the dogs to the truffles, and you’ll get to dig them from the ground yourself. We’ll share stories about the history, types of land, and various methods of searching for truffles. Enjoy two serene, harmonious hours with us. And remember, we’re flexible with the duration and difficulty of our journey to ensure it suits all attendees, considering their age or any other factors.
