• Como - Awaiting at the Como pier at the Lario bar, ready to embark on an extraordinary journey.
• Cernobbio - The journey continues past Tavernola and Cernobbio, admiring Villa Erba and the opulent Villa d’Este hotel, famously mentioned by the Obama and George Clooney families in 2019. We then reach Punta Pizzo, where the estate of Villa Le Fontanelle, once owned by Gianni Versace, stretches. Within the estate, the octagonal church can be rented for private weddings at €15,000 per hour.
• Moltrasio - Ascending the western shore, we pass Moltrasio Carate Urio and arrive at Laglio, home to the renowned Villa Oleandra, George Clooney’s residence.
• Isola Comacina - The journey continues to Isola Comacina, passing through the villages of Brienno and the famous restaurant Il Crotto dei Platani, where the cave that was once a smugglers’ hideout and Argegno still exists today.
• Villa del Balbianello - We ascend to Villa del Balbianello and coast along the Gulf of Venus.
• Tremezzo - In Tremezzo, we admire the splendid Grand Hotel and Villa Carlotta.
• Bellagio - From Tremezzo, we cross the lake to the magnificent Villa Melzi in Bellagio, where Napoleon Bonaparte once stayed. Skirting the gardens, we reach Bellagio’s square, passing it to arrive at the point where the lake splits into two branches, known as Punta Spartivento.
• La Punta Spartivento - Passing the tip, we enter the Lecco branch, where swimming in one of the lake’s cleanest and most picturesque spots is possible.
• Lezzeno - Departing for Como, we descend the opposite coast, passing through Lezzeno towards Nesso.
• Torno - Continuing along the coast, we reach Villa Pliniana, where ghost legends linger, then skirt around to visit the Grand Hotel “Il Sereno,” recently renovated by the Victoria’s Secret San Bart Group.
• Orrido Di Nesso - Returning along the coast, we reach the Orrido di Nesso and the Roman bridge.
• Blevio - Passing through the Mandarin Oriental and Villa Troubetzkoy, we finally return to Como for the drop-off.
