Day visit to Giza - Our trip to the pyramids was incredible, thanks to our amazing guides Farag and Hanna, who made us feel truly welcome and shared a wonderful husband-and-wife dynamic. Great experience. Great people. - We (a family group of four adults) had the opportunity to tour Cairo, Giza and Saqqara with Farag and Hanna over the course of four days. As much as we loved visiting the many museums and historical sites, both our guide(s) and driver made the experience one we’ll never forget. Farang is full of life and clever driver - We found Farang through trip advisor. He was our driver for the day on our transit in Egypt. He was funny, engaged my son a teen, his fav slogan " life is delicious". He was adept at navigating Cairo traffic. We laughed our way through the day and enjoyed hearing about his experiences. Wonderful two days in Giza and Cairo! - Farag and Hanan were warm, authentic and truly made our experience in Cairo! We had a lot of coordination with them before our trip, as our airline kept on canceling and changing our flights. They were very accommodating, and ultimately helped us create a wonderful two-day experience. Meeting us at the airport, Farag was there with a smile and a cold drink, while Hanan gave us an in-depth introduction to the history of the city and our first destination, the pyramid complex at Giza. Farag was both an amazing driver and great DJ, expertly manouvering through Cairo traffic like a nimble ship captain. We had a full day in Giza, with Hanan providing context and giving us plenty of time to get an overview of the complex while navigating around the crowds. We had a great afternoon at the Grand Egyptian Museum, which brought to life all the background Hanan provided about the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms of ancient Egypt. The next morning, Hanan guided us around Islamic Cairo, creating an on-the-fly itinerary that allowed us to understand the architecture and history of the city. From a first stop at the Mosque and Madrasa of sultan Hassan, to the Salah al-Din citadel that gave us a breathtaking view of the city with the pyramids in the distance, we were able to connect understand the history of the city. We then went a hunt for the list of items a friend had asked me to bring back, with Hanan taking us to places where she knew they were available at a fixed price. Our last stop of the day was the Qalawun Complex, navigating the streets of downtown Cairo as we stopped to eat at a wonderful hidden restaurant at the Khan El-Khalili market. A truly unforgettable two days, made possible by the dynamic duo of Farag and Hanan!

Flexible, packed day hitting everything we asked - Excellent full day tour of Cairo as we designed and with expert suggestions and tweaks from Farag: absolute flexibility on timings and were able to fit in Giza, Saqqur and Dashur and Museum of Civilisation to see the mummies, along with some falafel, shawarma and dessert. Price was confirmed prior to commitment and remained at that. Farag is informative, funny and professional, you won't be disapointed.
