Pasta making at Nona’s house - Jacamo and Elena are really friendly and welcoming, chatting about their family life, their careers and their organic small holding. They drove us to their home from Pisa centre. The aperitivo were beautiful, homemade pesto, olives, bread and wine were delightful. Elena had set up the kitchen ready with a station for each person, she was really helpful and guided us through each stage of the pasta making. She expertly handled 5 different peoples ability and stages of pasta making with ease. They are part of an organisation that supports volunteers coming to work on organic farms and their most recent volunteer gave us a tour of the property and to meet Lampo the donkey too. Whilst we looked around Elena cooked the food and we ate outside in the garden overlooking the valley. The spread of food was incredible, the smells were divine as was the taste. Pasta we had made with tomato sauce then cheeses, honey and salami and plenty of wine! Jacamo had made fresh ice cream for dessert which again was delicious. So with full bellies and big smiles they drove us back to the city. A truly special experience!

- We were a group of 12 colleagues visiting Pisa as part of a team-building event, and this experience was hands-down the highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The setting is absolutely stunning — a beautiful, peaceful location that instantly made us feel relaxed and excited for the day ahead. The pasta-making session was not only fun and interactive, but also a wonderful bonding experience for our team. The hosts were fantastic — knowledgeable, passionate, and full of good humour, making the whole activity enjoyable from start to finish. A special shout-out to Helena for her incredible pesto — absolutely delicious! After making the pasta, we sat down together to enjoy a fabulous meal, all homemade with fresh ingredients from the farm and served with local wine. It felt more like being invited into someone’s home than a typical touristic activity — so personal and memorable. The entire day was organised seamlessly, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. It was clear how much the family cared about providing an authentic and enjoyable experience. If you’re visiting Pisa we can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s something we’ll all remember for years to come!

Genuine, authentic Tuscan experience - There is no other Tuscan experience that will be more authentic than this. Helena and Giacomo are incredibly kind hosts. They offer a plethora of Italian knowledge, world culture and heritage. This is not for anyone looking for something Pinterest perfect. This is their home and it is authentic and wonderful. Nearly all ingredients are either sourced from their farm or from their share/barter network of friends. The conversation was flowing and never stopped. It was truly the highlight of our 14 day European trip across 5 countries for all seven of us. I recommend them 100 times over but go to their direct site versus the middle man. Monte Spazzavento.

Wonderful experience! - Wonderful time learning to make pasta at an Italian farmhouse. Helena and Giacomo were perfect hosts, sharing their home, food, and stories with us. Amazing Italian feast (using the pasta we made!) in a beautiful setting. We are looking forward to making pasta back at home, due to Helena’s patient and enjoyable teaching. This was such a special experience, went far beyond our expectations, and was a highlight of our trip to Italy!

Learning to make fresh pasta in an amazing homely setting. Delicious and very much fun! - For a rainy day in Lucca, we wanted to do a fresh pasta cooking course and came to this one. Good and quick contact and connect, to arrange this on very short notice. We were picked up in Lucca by the owner to be driven to his family home about 20 mins away; where we were welcomed by Helena. Welcome was very warm and friendly with home grown olives, home made pasta, very local wine and some other snacks. Then she taught us everything (or at least a first start) how to make fresh pasta. Also a quick show of the farm and the land and garden. Together with the family we then had our freshly made pasta in an extremely warm and family setting. (And it tasted amazing as well!) Afterwards we were driven back to Lucca again. If you are looking for a warm, family and local experience, where you really will enjoy Tuscan welcome, food and sphere, look no further, Giacomo and Helena (and their family and sometimes some volunteers) will give you the lunch or dinner of the trip!

Awesome time learning and eating Pasta - Our experience with Spazzavento was unbelievable! Our hosts for the day were so welcoming. We had so many questions for them. We started with some wine and snacks and then got into the pasta making. Dante was great in explaining each step. Then after all of our "hard" work, we got to eat lunch with the family.
