All hikers are required to sign a liability waiver prior to hiking. No hiking experience is necessary, but you must be comfortable walking on uneven ground, and you must be physically fit—those with heart, back, knee or hip issues should refrain from doing this hike. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms at the trail heads, nor on the trails. Make sure you go beforehand. Tours run rain or shine. If we determine weather is hazardous, tours may be cancelled and rescheduled.

What You Will Do
- Snap breathtaking photos of Kauai from high above, including the jungles, lush valleys and ocean vistas of the island—and other mountain ridges on the same level as you make your way up
- Explore one of locals' favorite trails on the island, learning about the local ecosystem you see, including native ‘ohia and kukui trees, as well as giant albizia and eucalyptus
- Get a great workout with an elevation gain of 840 feet—and feel the rewarding endorphins when you stop to gaze at Kauai like you've never seen it before

Bring at least one quart of water per person. Wear shoes you find comfortable for walking on muddy, slippery and uneven ground. Sneakers are most common. Due to humidity and rapidly changing weather, you will break a sweat, and you may get rained on. It's advised to bring sunscreen and bug spray.
Cancellations made at least one week prior to the tour date will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations that fall outside of this policy will be charged the full amount of the tour.
