Gorkha Palace - After enjoying breakfast at 8 am, the guide and driver will pick up the guests from their hotel and drive them to Gorkha, a journey of approximately 4-5 hours. Gorkha is located 140 km from Kathmandu and 110 km from Pokhara. Upon arrival, guests will check into the hotel in Gorkha and then explore the historic palace of the Shah Dynasty, the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified Nepal. Visitors can also explore the Kalika Temple and the Gorkha Museum within the palace complex. Following this, a visit to the Gorakhnath Cave Temple is planned. This sacred site, situated near Gorkha Durbar, is believed to be the meditation site of Gorakhnath Baba.
Return from Gorkha to Kathmandu/Pokhara
Kathmandu - After breakfast, guests will visit the Gorkha Museum to learn about the history, culture, and traditions of the Gorkha region. Following the museum visit, the journey back to Kathmandu or Pokhara will commence.
