Wonderful way to experience the history of Terezin the culture of Bohemia and the Czech Republic. Highly recommend. - Our guide, Peter, made this a truly memorable experience. The man really knows his history and was a fount of interesting information. We started with a good breakfast at a wonderful cafe. Then his stories and knowledge of history and specifically of Terezin as we toured the concentration camp took us back in time to truly feel the atrocities that took place. After that, taking a snowy little hike up to see the filming location of the Chronicles of Narnia in the Bohemian National Forest, then enjoying a wonderful lunch and ending the day at the amazing Christmas market in Dresden, Germany completed the day. It was a long day but we got to truly see and experience the Czech Republic in a way we would not have in the tourist areas of Prague.

Highly recommended - We had a great day out with Petr who is very knowledgeable and really knows his history. Like other reviews we visited Terezin, Tiske Steny which was definitely looking like Narnia and Dresden which included the historical parts of the city and the Xmas market. The cafe and restaurant he took us to provided lovely food and he was very considerate of the fact I have coeliac disease so require a gluten free meal. Both restaurants had a number of options I could have which was great. We would definitely do a tour with Petr again and hope to go in the summer.

Fantastic trip - We thoughroughly enjoyed our day with Peter. He was an amazing guide and really brought everything to life with his enthusiasm and knowledge. Peter kept us informed ahead of the pick-up from our hotel and we were please to find out it was a small tour group. From the outset Peter was friendly and inquisitive, making us feel at ease. First stop was breakfast at a lovely converted train station in Litomerice. Great coffe and very tasty cakes. We then headed to Theresien where Peter guided us around the many historic sites including the former Jewish ghetto and the jail turned concentration camp. A very thought provoking place where it was obvious Peter has done incredible research and passionate about educating others on what took place during and after world war two. We headed next to Tisa where we explored some stunning rock formations. We were so lucky that it had snowed recently. It made everything look even more magical. We were all very glad Peter brought spare crampons for us! Our lunch stop was at the beautiful Ostrov Hotel. Again, the snow made the setting absolutely gorgeous and the quality of the food matched up. Outstanding Czech food and drink included in the cost of the trip. Finally we crossed the border into Germany and arrived at Dresden. After a quick tour of some of the stunningly restored buildings in the city centre we had free time at the amazing xmas markets where Peter treated us to some lovely mulled wine. A brilliant day made all the more memorable by Peter's passionate and knowledgeable commentary that brought everything to life.

Unique/One-of-a-Kind Tour Itinerary/A Must-Have for Prague Visitors - Peter was an awesome guide ang quite knowledgeable about the history, culture, geography and geology of the region. This tour packed in a lot in one day and we had the full spectrum of experiences. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. We took the tour in late November and in lieu of Bastei (which is not available during winter) we went to Dresden and enjoyed its sights and Christmas markets instead. The food stops for coffee and lunch were very good with exquisite food options. Our tour ran a bit longer than usual and we got back to Prague late but Peter never rushed us and always accommodated requests. BIG PLUS (for those of Filipino descent): Our visit to Litomerice and his knowledge of Dr. Jose Rizal, national hero of the Philippines. Highly recommended and great value for your money.

An amazing all inclusive day out with something for everyone - My husband and I recently went on the full day trip from Prague to Terezin camp, Bohemian Switzerland (in particular Tiske Steny) and then on to Dresden for a quick overview of some of the main buildings of interest and the Christmas markets where we had some free time. The trip was a full day out! We were conveniently picked up at our hotel at 7.15 and dropped off at 9pm! Pete, our guide for the day was so friendly and accommodating! His trips are small and very personal (only us and another couple of the trip) so felt very relaxed! Pete himself, is very knowledgeable and gave us constant information throughout the trip! The trip is a must for anyone interested in the history of Prague and the wider Czech Republic. We started the day at a cute local cafe near Terezin camp, where we were treated to any cake or savoury item and drink from the menu. We then continued on to Terezin WW2 prisoner camp. This was a very interesting/ if not somber experience. Pete really brought to life the conditions in the camp and the outside Jewish ghetto area. After the camp we went to Tiske Steny which is in the national park area and was a filming site for many films, most notably the recent Chronicles of Narnia! The conditions we had were stunning as it was like a winter wonderland with perfect blue skies! Pete took us for a walk through the rock formations where I took many beautiful pictures! Pete also had the foresight to bring crampons for everyone’s shoes as we were not prepared for such deep snow! By this point we had worked up an ample appetite so we were taken to lunch at the beautiful hotel Ostrov and had a high end lunch of Czech cuisine and a local beer. The last part of the trip was to Dresden, my favourite part being the amazing Xmas markets! So pretty and traditional (please note most stalls only take cash so maybe bring some euros for food/souvenirs). Pete bought us all a delicious Gluhwein and we got to keep the souvenir cups! All in all the trip was worth the cost as was pretty much all inclusive for your food and drinks! Would highly recommend! Thanks again Pete

We had a wonderful day... - We had a wonderful day with Peter. He shared a lot of information about the sites we visited as well as Czech history. The visit to Terezin was a somber reminder of the horrors of WW2. Our short hike through the snow to see the Narnia labyrinth was delightful, as was the quick trip to Dresden with the added bonus of seeing the Christmas Market there. Peter is very friendly and thoughtful, and picked two really good restaurants for us to have a morning coffee/snack and lunch.

Great all day tour - The tour is a full day with some very powerful experiences. Starting with a beautiful ride through the mountains followed by an intimate and intense encounter with a Nazi concentration camp and adjacent camp and the adjacent Jewish ghetto. It wraps up with an amazing and beautiful tour of the historic Dresden city center. Included is a coffee and sweets break and an amazing traditional Czech dinner. Our tour guide was well-informed of the history and culture of the sites we explored and was personable and welcoming.
