Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic host! Excellent tour! - This was a very enjoyable and engaging tour! The tour guide, Marek, was VERY knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of his city. One of the things I valued about this tour was the "local narrative" that Marek shared about Dvorak. I had done some research about Dvorak's history as it pertains to his journey to the United States for a school assignment. Marek was able to share some additional details about this part of Dvorak's life that were not widely published. This is exactly why I picked this tour. I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in the history of music (and, to a lesser extent, poltiics) in Czechia.

Awesome unique tour thru a live musician guide - Marek is a fantastic guide. We like music but didn’t know much about Prague/Czech music and history and Marek brought the history to life with his enthusiasm, knowledge and music. Whether thru the specific recordings he shared of Czech composers throughout the walk or in his own performance with his guitar and singing. This was such a unique and fun tour. We highly recommend.

Strolling through musical Prague - Marek led us to important locations in the musical world of Prague which might have been otherwise overlooked. His excellent guitar playing and grasp of historic and recent events added up to an insightful and informative experience.

🎶 Walk, Talk, Listen, Learn and ENJOY! 🎶 - We thought Marek our guide would just play a guitar and tell us some stories. We were blown away! He played and sang Czech folk songs of love, despair, and triumph. We walked to historical locations honouring well known composers and heard snippets of symphonies (via speakers) while standing in the shadows of their statues. Ducking into doorways and sitting beneath ancient trees in ancient parks, we were transported to historical moments that shaped the culture of the Czech people. I won’t spoil it by describing the finale but this tour is 100% worth it.

Prague Music Guided Tour - Marek’s tour was one of the most engaging and memorable experiences I have ever had. The way he was able to not only teach us about landmarks but also incorporate music in a way that tied everything together was incredible. Marek is one of the best people you could hope to have be your tour guide, he works hard to make the tour something for everyone to enjoy and feel connected to. The music he has made apart of this experience makes it all the more special and moving. He tailors the tours to see all the landmark moments while also keeping you away from the crowds of tourists, making this tour feel even more worthwhile. I could only ever highly recommend Marek to be your tour guide!

Wonderful music tour - Traveling with Marek feels like being shown around by a local friend, with the added charm of his live guitar playing Czech folk songs and a few classic masterpieces through his speaker. I was lucky enough to be the only guest that day, turning the experience into a private tour! You’ll discover lots of Prague’s history, of which I particularly love those associated with music. Enjoy a peaceful afternoon stroll completely immersed in music and culture.

More than just photos and facts - If you're looking for a tour that goes beyond the typical sightseeing checklist, you have to book with Marek. As a "guitarist", Marek offers a truly special experience, blending a tour of Prague's Old Town with live music and fascinating stories.
What sets him apart is his passion for Czech history and culture. At each stop, he'll play a piece on his guitar or from a speaker, connecting the music directly to the place and its significance. It's an incredibly powerful way to experience the city's past.
Marek is also a very open and engaging guide. He shares personal stories that make the tour feel intimate, and he's eager to answer any question you might have. While the tour is fairly short in duration and covers a compact area of the Old Town, it’s the perfect way to get a real feel for the surroundings and a deeper understanding of the city.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants more than just photos and facts—it's a journey into the musical heart and soul of Prague.

Amazing songs and guide - Marek is a fantastic tour guide! He is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the music tour was such a unique way to learn about Czech culture and history with songs from all eras. I couldn’t recommend this tour more!

Musical tour with a local guide - I enjoyed the tour as it was different from the usual walking tours, the guide Marek took good care of us and made it an enjoyable mix of music, history and sightseeing. He was knowledgeable, funny and considerate. As a musician I was happy to learn more about Prague, composers and life under the Iron Curtain during the Cold War.
