Relaxing - The older trams can give you a jolt as they set off and stop, but it’s all good fun! Staff on board are very helpful with their knowledge of Prague.

Very good advice from an employee: STRAHOV monastery - From stop 4 (castle) Strahov monastery. Visit much less frequented than the Clementinum and just as extraordinary. Thank you!

Glad we took that line to the castle - We wanted to see Prague Castle again and did not want to climb the stairs so we took this tram. Happy because the ride is fast. Convenient because it is possible to get on and off this tram with the same ticket knowing that there are 20 stops to visit. If you have time to visit Prague, I recommend taking this Tram as it allows you to visit the main points of the city. We loved this tram on line 42.

100% recommend - Brilliant. I recommend doing the whole loop with the tram as the first thing you do in Prague. It really gives you your bearings and only takes around 1 - 1.5 hours. The staff on board are very helpful and informative.

Its a great way to see... - Its a great way to see the sights! We esp enjoyed stop #2 and walking to the mini Eiffel Tower ( the Petrin Tower) Stunning views from the top, only 300 steps to the top … well worth the climb! Nice cafes in the area of stop 2 as well

Fun, bumpy, excellent value - We love trams so it was fun. We also found it the absolutely best value to have an introductory tour of Prague. We have never been to Prague and wanted to get to see the important sights. The information maps really helped. We were happy to go round town without a guided tour or audio. Trams are fun but no Aircon and a bumpy ride. Expect fun, not luxury.

Ideal if you like old trams, NO COMMENTARY! - You need to get a map of the tram route in advance and decide what you want to see to make the best of the hop-on hop-off options. For anyone who loves vintage transport this is a great experience. However, it is NOT a guided tour with a commentary. Staff are very pleasant and helpful but the app that they advise you to download is entirely unsuited to providing a commentary; for large parts of the journey it says nothing, then it identifies three sights at once, trying to make it play appropriate information was extremely hard work and impossible to do and look at the sights. You also have to remember to cancel the app (not just delete it) to avoid an expensive, unrefundable subscription payment.

Prague sightseeing by Tram - It was fun riding around in the old tram cars. They have several different cars ranging from the early 1900’s to the 2000’s. I loved the one with the wooden benches!

We enjoyed the novelty and the experience - Like any of these 24 hour passes, the value “depends". If you under utilise it, it’s not good value. But if you make the most of it the convenience can outweigh the cost. Being over 65 we could have travelled for free on the normal trams but bought these passes for the novelty and to save having to spend precious time studying the tram routes to try to replicate the journey. The young guides on board were excellent and the trams themselves great fun (although the ones with wooden seats were a bit hard on the backside). Was it worth it? On balance, yes, for us. For someone else? It depends…

Disappointed - Too packed. I had to stand up for most of the ride. Couldn't see much as had to hang on tight. When I finally got a seat not a lot of information was given at each stop. I downloaded the guide beforehand but it didn't seem to sync to the scenery or buildings I was looking at. Overall quite disappointing and expensive for what it was.
