- You will be joining the pay-what-you-wish tour. You pay 3 EUR per person upfront to secure your spot and decide how much you would like to tip the guide at the end of the tour, only after you’ve experienced the tour. Our guides are highly motivated to give you the best tour possible.
- The 11 AM tour includes the Change of Guards with Music. 3 PM Tour includes the Golden Lane. Otherwise, the tour covers exactly the same sights.
- Only groups of max. 8 travelers per booking are allowed to join this tour. Larger groups need to book our private tour.
- Group size can be up to 30 people max.
- You will need a tram ticket. You can purchase the ticket at the tour meeting point.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour start! Since the group takes the tram to the castle it won’t be possible for you to join if you arrive late.
- A refund can only be issued if you cancel 24 h prior
- Animals and bulky luggage is not allowed
- Nor recommended for wheelchair users, and kids in strollers as not all trams we take are accessible

Prague Castle tour - Unfortunately it was extremely cold and windy but the guide made it bearable. It was an excellent tour and at the end we paid the tour guide ‘david’ a reasonable tip in accordance with our budget. David was funny and interactive with all of us and overall a Very highly recommended tour

Unforgettable Prague Castle tour with Kuba - We had an absolutely fantastic walking tour of Prague Castle with our guide Kuba — easily one of the highlights of our trip!
From the very beginning, Kuba brought history to life with passion, humor, and an incredible depth of knowledge. He didn’t just recite facts — he told stories that made the centuries-old walls of the castle feel vivid and alive. His ability to weave together history, architecture, legends, and local insights kept the entire group engaged from start to finish.
Kuba’s energy and charisma made even the smallest details fascinating. He patiently answered questions, adapted the pace to the group, and made sure everyone felt included — whether history buffs or first-time visitors.
We left not only with great photos, but with a much deeper understanding of Czech history and culture. If you’re visiting Prague and want more than just sightseeing — something truly memorable — don’t miss a tour with Kuba.

Great overview of Prague Castle - We booked this tip-based tour after participating in a similar tour earlier in the week. Our guide, James, was friendly, knowledgeable, and readily answered questions. I was initially surprised that he is not a Czech native, but his decades living in Prague showed in his extensive knowledge of Prague in general, and Prague castle specifically. My family appreciated that he was American, as they found it easier to pay attention when their ears didn't have to navigate through an unfamiliar accent.
After a week of walking 8-10 miles a day, including an intense hiking excursion the day prior, we appreciated that the tour tour a public tram to the top of the castle hill instead of walking up the stairs! We were glad we arrived to the tour meeting spot about 10 minutes early, as we did have to go into the metro station to purchase a tram ticket (very easy and inexpensive).
At the end, we tipped 500 CZK, which is roughly $25 USD.

Did three tours and all were great! - Updating my review: I have now completed three tours (alongside my partner and two teens): Old Town with Vaclav, Legends with Kamil and the Castle with Lucie. All the experiences were absolutely excellent. All the guides speak perfect English (with nuanced humour and a wide understanding of English vernacular) - which is truly impressive and very welcome. But, most of all, they love (and are proud of) their home town and highly educated - quick to answer questions with authority if you have them. I really cannot recommend them enough. I watched Valery and Vaclav’s videos and had a good feeling about their work. The tours ratified my instinct. Thank you to the team at 100 Spires/Real Prague Guides.

Good historical castle walk - Lots of historical details, gentle walk well guided. Enjoyed it, though only saw things from the outside, need to do it again and go inside.

The castle wasn’t as cold as Jakub’s presentation. - This tour was informative and had wonderful sights and views for pictures. Jakub was extremely knowledgeable and overall quite friendly. My only criticism was that he frequently started his explanation/descriptions with questions followed by rather long pauses, waiting for us to answer. I trust that this was in the spirit of good fun. However it made the experience feel like a pop quiz. I felt a bit condescended to, even shamed at times. While I am certain this wasn’t his intention, it did take away from the overall experience. Our previous guides, Elias and Hana, felt more generous and welcoming with their knowledge. All of this being said, I wholeheartedly recommend 100 Spires tours! A slight adjustment to Jakub’s delivery would make a world of difference.
