- Cesky Krumlov Castle - The Castle of Cesky Krumlov is the town’s top attraction. Featuring five courtyards and 11 hectares of gardens, it draws visitors from around the globe. The Rosenbergs made it their main residence in 1302, staying for nearly 300 years and significantly shaping the castle’s and town’s history. A highlight is the golden carriage, crafted from gilded walnut in 1638, used by Emperor Ferdinand III von Habsburg to deliver gifts to Pope Urban VIII. Beyond this, Cesky Krumlov boasts a Baroque theatre, one of the oldest in Europe, built between 1680 and 1682, retaining its original stage machinery, costumes, scenery, and props. Our guide can show you the castle exteriors, and if you wish to see the interiors, you can purchase admission on-site by card and join a guided group tour.
