Interesting trip - Very interesting. Our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgable, and engaging. In the fortress itself, our tour guide Martin was also top notch.

Unforgettable - Bring a lot of time sensitive and compassion for what happened here
For anyone trying to understand why this could happen

Really enlightening... - Really enlightening experience, you get to hear all about the camp and what the reason for its use! It’s a somber experience and you get to understand what it was like for the people that experienced it. A trip into the town afterward to see the ghetto, is also very humbling.

Place is amazing to see... - Place is amazing to see but our guide didn't handle the group well. She allowed others in the group to talk constantly translating for the language of that group. Made it difficult to hear.

Unsafe driving & poor guide organization - I booked this trip to Teresín for the 10th March. It was strait foward to book and I was looking foward to it.
I had already gone to another trip with the same company (Kutná Hora) which was fantastic- the trip itself and the guide.
However, the Teresín trip was horrendous. There was only me and 2 German ladies. The guide Dana, although made an effort to the job, was quite disappointing but, the worst was the driver who half way to Teresín appeared to fall asleep or something whilst driving and the van swerved to the left almost hitting the metal curb on the left. One of the German lady shouted in fear and asking the driver if he was okay. So did I. He quicly pulled the van direction to the right avoiding hitting the metal curb shouting at her "dont tell me how to dtive" "go out and walk" "go out"..this whilst driving very fast. At this point I tried to calm him down for our own safety telling him that the lady simply asked if he was okay and there was no need fir him to be rude. He didn't engage and we all looked at each other just praying yk get to Teresin safely. The guide was oblivious of all. She didnt say a word to him. I felt sick with the fear. I couldn't concentrate with the tour anymore already thinking of how this dtiver would be on the way back to Prague. The second German lady was crying. It was very unpleasant. And unsafe.
In Terezin we were told things which was not followed. Dana, the guide, rushed us in the museum. She looked tired. I highlighted to her that I expected her to intervene when the driver shouted and was rude to us. I asked her if she noticed him driving unsafely and she confirmed that she did. Yet, she didn't ssy anything. Unbelievable!
From the museum, which we were rushed off to finish by the guide saying we shouldn't be reading all writtings as there was no time for that and we needed to go to the small fortress which would take 30 min in the van. So we left after 30 minutes for the 2 floors and went back to the van again.
The driver was looking very grumpy. It looked like he had had a nap. I again thought how safe the way back would be and debated in my head if I should actually risk or not. Me and the 2 german ladies kept revising the issue and going back to what happened in desbilief.
When we arrived in the small fortress (in less than 2 minutes) the guide got off the van and we stayed in thinking the guide was going to do something and we'd continued the 30 min trip to the small fortress. But the driver shouted "out, out" "out please". That made the 3 of us jump. Then the guide said we had arrived. We didnt understand but looked like the guide got the translation wrong or forgot how long it would be. God knows.at this point I just wanted to be back home.
P.S. This driver was drinking water from a bottle during the driving in the motorway. Especially aftervthe shouting. To drink from that bottle, he had to tilt his head to almost 90 degrees. I closed my eyes everytime he did that. Perhaps a bottle with a straw would be better so he could keep an eye at the road.
He had an energy drink by the panel which he threw on the floor outside the van inside Terezín near the museum. I picked it up.
We were rushed off from the small fortress too because the guide Dana said the driver told her he needed to be back in Prague by 3pm latest. She said it was very difficult to comunicate with him. That he was very difficult. I told everyone how wrong and disappointing the experience was. That I never felt so unsafe in a tour fearing for my life because an unresponsible ignorant man with poor emotional control and manners. But, we should not say anything to avoid making him angry as he had the control at the wheels so it was not worthy, but that we must make a complaint asap. All including the guide agreed. We just wanted to be back safely.
On the way back it was clear that he was making an effort not to speed up. But he did again especially nearer to Prague.
This man is not safe to drive!
Please find him and review his driving skills and any health issues before he causes an accident and put other's lives at risk like he did to ours.

A bad experience. - Fatal! Very bad experience. We took a Spanish tour to Terezín. We're meeting at 8.50 on Monday morning. At 9.10 we phoned because no one was coming. They laughed and told us there was traffic, they were on their way. At 10.20 we called again and laughing again we were told that there had been a communication problem between I don’t know who and that day could not be, that we would go the next day. The next day the tour was in English, so we had a little difficulty when it came to the explanations, as the guide did not speak very good Spanish. That created some friction between the other tour customers, as the guide had to explain in English and Spanish, so too much time was wasted and they paid for the tour in English. Very disorganized. At the end of the tour, we called the Enterprise and they did not give us a reasonable explanation of what had happened. They hesitated to talk to us and gave reasons that did not correspond to reality. Excellent Jana and Adela, who tried very hard to make the tour as good as possible. In my opinion, it should be called Wrost Tour in Prague.
