• 24Q6+C9 Pounta - In our clay-play session, participants will explore the stages of crafting complete ceramics. There will be discussions about forms and individual creative aspirations. The techniques demonstrated will include pinch pot, coiling, and slab methods, enabling the creation of bowls, mugs, or any desired item. During the session, there will be a break for coffee, fruit juice, or perhaps a dessert. Following this, participants will have the opportunity to try the pottery wheel, crafting circular forms that can be tailored to personal aesthetics. The art of ceramics offers incredible freedom with clay, a highly malleable material, allowing for endless possibilities and a sense of peace akin to meditation. Even beginners will find joy in the creative process. With clay, there are no mistakes; everything can be adjusted until satisfaction is achieved. Ceramics require two firings in the kiln, taking approximately 15 days to complete the entire process.

Ceramic art offers a wonderful opportunity to explore creative potential! Engaging with clay provides grounding and relaxation while crafting both functional and decorative pieces. By mastering ceramic techniques in the workshop, participants can create any desired form or shape. Three distinct ceramic techniques will be taught: two involving hand-building and one using the pottery wheel. All necessary materials, including clay, tools, paints, and kiln access, are provided at no cost. The entire process, from bisque to glaze firing, typically takes 8 to 15 days.
