Great way to get seen the city and right history - Guiding in German, but audio guide in several languages, and an info booklet for a quarter stop. Great way to see the city and right the colorful history. It is not that long in place, but on the return one can jump off and see more of what one wants, as td Sans Souci with its beautiful gardens.

Have you ever been here? - It was an interesting ride, even if the start at the main station in Potsdam was a bit strange. Booked and paid at GYG we saw a red hop-on & off-off bus at the meeting point, which in our view would have nothing to do with our booking. But we still had time. Time for a tipple and then walk over. The "stationary" guide asked us if we were guests. I told him that we probably had another provider --- because red and green are different. Several times he asked only one question: " Have you been here before?" And to my note on the possibly other provider, came the answer: "There's only one here." But good, as the departure was delayed due to the lack of a guide and it was now also made clear that the tour would take place with two buses and also a green bus came from the old Fritz, I witnessed a conversation of the gentleman chief guide with our bus driver, which was the Waldemar, that he should probably have picked up passengers at a hotel. But he denied it and started a cozy rant. That's a complete 0 points! Ride itself was very interesting with a very good guide who could score with beautiful stories and historical aspects. Too bad there is no stop at the Altglienecke bridge would certainly be worth considering. The bus itself is certainly perfect in the summer, but with us it smelled quite strongly of diesel in the passenger compartment.

No English - Only German Language - The tour guide talked in only German Language throughout the walk tours of the places. I was handed an English text guide to read throughout the walking tour. The tour guide gave very limited information in English language. Only the recorded audio guide in the bus was in English language. It is not mentioned on Viator that the entire naration of the tour will be in German language.

Beautiful places but organization leaves something to be desired - In Coach it was very cold also the guide did not bother to check if the people were all on board during the tour

Don’t do this tour if you speak English . Germans got a guide, English speakers a book to read. Bad idea with 2 language - Being on a hop on hop off bus having to listen with earphones to a prerecorded insufficient recording was a terrible surprise, the guide spoke on microphone in German to other passengers and drowned out our recording . Then when off bus he spent much more time with Germans, when I mentioned this he said” not enough time to give both groups talk”. Also he spoke more on bus while we heard nothing. We paid the same and got much less’ we want our money back. For us he gave us a book in English to read, if he did not take so much time with Germans we could have gone into at least 1 castle. You should never have 2 languages on same tour .
