Don't miss this opportunity to see the best cave system out there! - Castle was interesting and unique but the cave was the main event. What a cave! Train ride into the cave is a bonus and such an amazing experience. Stalagmites and stalactites the best display I have ever seen. Tour guide gave good information to the castle and cave about Slovenia and the area we were travelling in. Would highly recommend. If you are not agile this tour might not be the best fit for you as there are many stairs in the castle. In the cave it is pathway.

Fantastic Tour! - This was a great experience. Small group tour, there were 8 of us in total. We were picked up promptly at the pick up spot. Our guide gave us lots of information en route to our first stop which was the castle. He was really entertaining and very friendly. Our guide took us to the entrance and told us what time to meet back with him. We were lucky to be the first people into Predjama Castle. This meant we had lots of space to move which was good as some of the stairs are uneven so care is required. We all had audio guides so we got lots of information. Next we were onto Postojna Caves. Again our guide took us to the entrance and we went in with the large group awaiting the English tour. This was brilliant. The train into the cave was fun. The walk round was also excellent. We were glad we had dressed appropriately as it is chilly in there and it was a little drippy as expected. We were so glad we did this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Dropped back off safely in Ljubljana, I think for a half day tour this is excellent value for money.

Two of the worlds greatest wonders on the same day - This was probably the highlight of our trip. Really nicely arranged and two of the coolest sights in the world on the same day with a great guide. Both locations were extraordinarily. To make the tour even slightly better the visit to Predjama Castle could maybe have been 15-20 minutes longer to really be able to take it all in, but the time was enough to visit the whole castle.

Castle and Caves are great - Besides being half an hour late to the pickup (and watching two other vans come and pick up people for the same destination from the same company), the trip was nice. It was very rainy and chilly so being inside the caves was pleasant. Since the castle was partially open to elements, it was quite wet inside and slippery. But overall, a good day!

Amazing start! - The driver and guide were great! Ema was filled with knowledge to share with us. Pick up was accurate and timely. I would not suggest doing the tour in the afternoon. Castle was great, audio was amazing at the castle. At the caves was rushed, too large a group and no audio offered. We were the last train trip, and everyone interested in going home from the cave staff. Could not get any written info after having missed the tour guide from the cave staff. I had to do a google search afterwards. To be clear, this was not the tour company’s fault, it was the caves. Perhaps it is better to do in the morning.

I found the walking in... - I found the walking in the cave a bit challenging with wet footpaths and hand rails. I was so concerned about keeping up with the group I barely took time to enjoy the views. The path is quite steep in places.

Interesting tour - The excursion to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle was absolutely wonderful! Both sites are truly impressive — Postojna Cave is breathtaking with its underground train ride and spectacular chambers, and Predjama Castle is fascinating with its dramatic location and rich history. Having the entrance tickets included made the visit smooth and hassle-free. However, just to set expectations: we paid 108 EUR per person, with the tickets included. Since the combined entrance fee for the cave and castle is around 50 EUR, you are basically paying an extra 58 EUR per person just for the taxi ride there and back. This isn’t a small group experience — in the cave you join the local group tour of about 50 people, and in the castle you use an audioguide. There is no food, drinks, or even water included. Overall, it’s a beautiful trip and the sites are must-sees, but I would consider the excursion overpriced for what you actually get. If you’re comfortable organizing transport yourself, it may be more cost-effective to visit independently.
