Excellent Day Trip! - The day was perfect! Tony was our guide and was fantastic! He gave us an excellent tour of the Amalfi coast as well as history of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Tony also recommended a restaurant for dinner that evening which also was great! Thank you Tony for making our experience excellent!

Wonderful way to see the beauty of the Amalfi Coast! - You can trust Compass Tours to provide a fantastic experience. We were contacted by Tony 5 weeks prior to our trip, thanking us for our booking and giving us his contact information should we need it. The night before our tour we received another text confirming the details, including our driver’s name and a description of the van. Communication like this is very reassuring!
Claudio our driver was fantastic! He shared the history of the area and took us to places of interest, always making sure that we were happy with the itinerary, and asking if there was anything else that we wanted to do. He is a skillful driver and a great conversationalist too. Definitely ask for Claudio when booking. Great company to work with!

Great tour with Claudio - Claudio was an excellent guide who customized our tour based on our interests. He is affable, knowledgeable about the area and an excellent driver on the crowded and narrow roads. He suggested a place to stop that had excellent porcelain and had excellent quality. We went to Ravello and loved the area/ had free time to explore and take in the views…then it was off to Amalfi where we took a ferry and enjoyed the coast by sea at a very reasonable cost. He knew the best places to stop and also added a lot of local facts. He suggested a lovely restaurant for lunch which was reasonable,had nice ambiance, and fantastic views away from the maddening crowds in the Amalfi square. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day

We were lucky enough to have Marco with Compass Tours pick us up at the Naples airport to bring us to Positano and for him to be our guide for a tour of the Amalfi Coast the next day. Marco shared the history of each of the areas we traveled through and to, with amazing detail, and he has a wonderful sense of humor!! He made sure we had enough time in each of our destinations and was gracious and kind. Compass Tours gets an A++ from me and I would definitely use their services again for future trips to Italy.

Wow!! Must do while you’re in Italy!! - WOW!! This excursion exceeded my expectations!! We had Tony as our driver (twice during our visit to Sorrento- once as a transportation from Naples to Sorrento, with a stop in Pompeii), and secondly the Amalfi Coast tour.
It was questionable weather for our tour day and Tony graciously offered to change days for us. Tony was so accommodating to everything and anything we wanted to see or do, and was SO knowledgeable on the area. He didn’t just drive us to one point to the other, he gave us fun and interesting information about the areas we’re were in and passing through. Highly recommend him as your driver!!
The Amalfi tour itself was MAGICAL- I can not recommend it enough!! Tony stopped at the most amazing view points to snap pictures along the way, and we were able to see everything we wanted and more!! We will be back, and I’ll be asking for Tony! ; )

Great way to explore the Amalfi coast - This was exactly what we were looking for. Our driver Marco picked us up near our hotel in Positano. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us the freedom to change the itinerary as desired. First we visited Amalfi. We then ended up loving Ravello so we spent more time there and decided to skip the long drive to Sorrento. This also gave us extra time for a short stop in Atrani so we could see some filming locations from Ripley. Marco dropped us off in each location and it was easy to message him when we were ready for pickup. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Amalfi coast if you want the freedom of a private driver.

Terrific Private Amalfi Coast Tour - Claudio was excellent. Provide details, history, funny facts, etc of the various towns and sites. He was very knowledgeable about the area and answered our questions. He was personable, friendly, flexible, and accommodating. Suggested a great lunch venue with wine and food pairing:tasting and a wonderful view of Sorrento. He did a terrific job driving the dangerous, curvy roads. Show a lot of patience and was funny. Really enjoyed our trip thanks to him.
