• Ruka - The world’s northernmost roller coaster is found in the charming small town of Ruka, situated in eastern Lapland.

The town was initially renowned for its thrilling ski slopes, but the addition of the northernmost roller coaster has enhanced its allure.

A fairy tale winter road-trip from Rovaniemi to Ruka exploring Finland’s northernmost biggest frozen waterfall in Korouoma Canyon & northernmost roller coaster ride 767m & upto 40 km/hr in Ruka. We also cross the Arctic Circle making a loop journey back to Rovaniemi.

The journey begins with a scenic drive to east Lapland to Korouoma Canyon. Here, towering Finland’s northernmost biggest frozen waterfall & dramatic canyon, a true Arctic fairytale.

After the canyon visit, continue to Ruka, where excitement awaits with world’s northernmost roller coaster ride winding through snowy hills upto 40 km/hr offering stunning views.

*NOTE:

This activity only offers the biggest frozen waterfall hike in Korouoma canyon, not the big loop, and one roller coaster ride in Ruka. Children aged 4 and over can ride the track with an adult.

This activity is not available on Friday as the Roller Coaster stays closed every Friday.
