The earliest known mention of Haikko Manor is from the year 1362, when it was owned by the Dominican priory of Vyborg. Later, Jöns Olofsson acquired the manor, and it stayed with the Stenbock family for the next four centuries.

1871
General Sebastian von Etter purchased the Manor and gained distinction in the Turkish war. His family retained ownership for nearly a century. During the von Etters’ tenure, many members of the Russian imperial family and notable figures from Finnish cultural life visited Haikko.
