The gardens at “Quinta do Palheiro” are located approximately 500 meters above sea level in Funchal.
Palheiro Gardens are renowned for their legendary gardens and surroundings, open year-round to captivate all visitors.
There are tree plantations here that are about 200 years old, planted by the original owner of the Manor House, the Conde de Carvalhal.
Today, the Palheiro Gardens include a hotel, a golf course, and the Palheiro Village Florialis orchid nursery.
These gardens are celebrated as some of the most beautiful in the world, promising a memorable trip from start to finish.

Cabo Girao - Head towards one of Madeira island’s most breathtaking attractions, Cabo Girão. This is the highest viewpoint in Europe, just a 2-minute walk from Cabo Girão’s village.
This remarkable viewpoint stands at an impressive 580m elevation and is famous for its glass platform, which visitors can walk across.
Not for the faint-hearted, the glass platform offers stunning panoramas.
The glass platform allows visitors to feel as if they are walking atop the cliff, presenting a spectacular view of Fajãs of Rancho and Cabo Girão.
From this vantage point, one can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the ocean and the cities of Funchal and Câmara de Lobos.

This monument and its stunning views are a major attraction in this quaint town.
The Cristo Rei statue was constructed in 1927, completed four years before Brazil’s famous Christ the Redeemer statue.
This Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ is the magnificent work of French sculptor Georges Serraz.

- Monte Palace Madeira - The next stop unveils one of Monte’s biggest attractions, the Monte Palace Madeira. This is one of the most visited and beloved places in Funchal due to its vast and captivating garden.
A one-and-a-half-hour stop will be made here to take photos, enjoy the surroundings, and perhaps savor a coffee at the “Greenhouse Coffee Roaster.”
This special place is renowned not only for its diverse plant life but also for its central lake, home to swans and ducks, with peacocks and chickens also found in the main areas. Capture some lovely and creative photos quickly.
