Honeymoon in Madeira - Joel was absolutely fantastic. Do a bit of off- roading if you’re an adrenaline junky and don’t mind a bit of rough and tumble. Joel was very informative, entertaining & enthusiastic! He gave us plenty of time and showed us all his favourite parts of the island in a short space of time. We will DEFINITELY be back and will do a few days touring with him!!

You want to use this company (Joel specifically) - My good man Joel did an amazing job. Very down to earth and extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. Accommodated us within only one day’s notice (and we found out about him through another pleased traveler who we ran into in the quant Madeirian streets). Stopped when we needed to; never felt rushed nor leaned towards one thing. Definitely as private as it comes with a solid guide.
Would definitely recommend and use him again.

Personalized experience - Joel gave us a wonderful, personalized tour. We wanted to swim in the lava pools so he took us to Porto Moniz and many beautiful stops along the way. We appreciated Joel’s personal stories and recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our stay. The ride was very comfortable and we had plenty of time to see the highlights of the island. Thank you Joel!

Absolutely perfect - We had a great day out, perfectly customised to meet our preferences, which is the main reason we picked this company. Joel was very friendly, professional and eager to please. He ensured we were comfortable and took us to many places we would have missed if we had tried it on our own. It was fun and the highlight of our week.

Joel is the best guide EVER!! - We had the more incredible tour with Joel. Afterwards we were left speechless and said it was probably the best tour we had ever had in our 40 years of travel. The tour met all of our desires and was done in a comfortable, friendly manner. Joel was always making sure we were enjoying the tour and willing to make any changes or if we wanted to stay at different locations longer, it was totally up to us. Well done, Joel! Thank you for the memories!

The best of Madeira in half a day, super guide - Joel picked us up at the cruise port and proposed the route to us. He was very flexible regarding our special wishes (visit the tropical botanical garden and the Funchal old town and food market) and took us around in his father's Jeep. We went from sea level with numerous stops up to the Pico de Arieiro (1800 m) with beautiful views and down again, using old narrow roads, showing us rural life in Madeira, to the airport where Joel showed us the runway bridge from below.
Very interesting tour with a nice guy, highly recommended!

Hidden gems and adventure with the best guide - This was our second tour with Joel (that’s how much we enjoyed our time with him!) he is a great guide, very friendly, and tailored the tour perfectly to our needs and requests. He showed us some unique places that we would have never found on our own, giving us a real taste of Madeira away from the crowds. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some adventure in the most beautiful setting!

For a truly personalized tour of Madeira island, go with Joel! - Joel makes you feel like your favorite cousin is a local guide at Madeira! He truly personalizes the tour to each group and shows you THE BEST of the island. I’d recommend hiring him at the start of your stay at Madeira so you can take advantage of his amazing recommendations for the rest of your trip. We asked for a nature tour away from the crowds and we got it! Joel knows everything there is to know about the island and freely shares his knowledge. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

A memorable day with Joel!!! - We had a great day with Joel. He is an excellent Guide and is very attentive to his clients. Besides, Joel lives in Madeira so he knows his Island very well. My children loved him and us. Joel really cares about making this day memorable for his guests. It was very punctual and communication before the excursion was very simple. He's very accommodating. He took the time to make us recommendations for the rest of our trip and he was very good advice. Joel is also very careful on the road out of concern for safety for his customers. I highly recommend Joel for a memorable day in Madeira!!

A tour by a true local. - Last month me and my family's had the opportunity to do this half day tour, full on wonders! The name definitely is not for showing off. We had similar experience on this island but this one is worth sharing for anyone that may be interested in discovery less crowded places. Joel was our guide, and to put it simple, we could not ask for someone better. Great driver as well his personality! I can say he his doing what he loves, and that reflects on his work!
We had a blast, for someone that already saw a lot of madeira, this guy (joel) had you covered!
