Amazing - We had a wonderful day and would like to thank Daria our tour guide . She was excellent and never rushed us as we were with our autistic son. And a big thank you to the lovely driver Calos for taking us on the tour and specially for bringing back my son’s power bank and charger that he had left in the bus . He was very happy to have it . Thank you to Madeira adventure kingdom for an excellent service

Pure nature and unforgettable impressions - Yesterday was just fantastic! The hike to the 25 Fontes Levadas impressed me deeply and exceeded my expectations by far. The nature was breathtaking, the route varied and the atmosphere was consistently positive. A special thanks goes to our driver and tour guide Marta. Their warm manner and professional guidance have made the day a real highlight. Thanks to her experience and calm charisma, we felt safe and motivated at all times. Marta has managed to not only introduce us to the beauty of Madeira, but also to ensure a good mood and team spirit. I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to actively experience Madeira – and with Marta it is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience!

Felt like the Amazon - Our guide Maria was incredible. She took use through the lushes Forrest (felt like the Amazon) the walk itself wasn’t difficult as it was mainly walking down steps with a few steps up. A lot to fitness is not required but comfy shoes is a must.

A wonderful tour! - We had a phenomenal day with our guide, Marta. She was an excellent driver and guide, taking our safety seriously throughout the day. She was also very knowledgeable and friendly, which made the experience even better. The tour itself is wonderful. The walk is set in a stunning location and was the highlight for us. While the fountains are quite busy with tourists, we especially enjoyed the walk. Be prepared for plenty of stairs up and down, so a reasonable level of fitness is helpful. One of the most memorable parts was finishing with an 800m walk through a dark, wet tunnel — a real adventure and great fun! I would recommend bringing a good packed lunch, as the supermarket stop on the way is quite basic.

Amazing nature - The hike is along a very crowded route but the nature is absolutely stunning and the guide made the most of it by telling us about the local trees and plants, fantastic!

Lovely walk but too popular nowadays - This trail has become so popular that it is overcrowded and according to our guide the day that we went was not particularly busy. It is a lovely walk, but I suspect Instagram has done for it, as so many people want to take their “selfie” by the pool at the end. They ignore the signs directing them to adhere to “one way” narrow sections and drop litter everywhere, our guide collected a bagful of it on the return. It is possible to do the 5 km trail without a guide as it’s there and back to the pool, so you can’t get lost. You need to watch your head especially if you are tall as there are lots of low overhanging branches and take a proper torch for the 800 metre tunnel; the torch on a mobile phone isn’t adequate.

Make it... last - Very disappointing hike. Does not live up to the photos or comments of other travelers. Busy, smelling of urine and toilet paper all along the trail and the end... a trickle of water with 200 people at its base. I recommend any other trail.
