- Lipica Stud Farm - Kobilarna Lipica - As one of the oldest stud farms globally, the Lipica Stud Farm is the birthplace of the Lipizzan horse. Nestled in a unique natural setting, surrounded by enchanting meadows and shaded by oak and chestnut trees, visitors will encounter stunning white horses that are sure to captivate. A stroll through the estate is like stepping back in time, with the historic manor house and the elegance of the Lipizzan horse evoking an era when horse-drawn carriages were the height of travel. For over 400 years, the tradition of breeding these magnificent white horses has been maintained in the heart of the distinctive Karst landscape, now recognized as one of Slovenia’s most beautiful natural and cultural landmarks. During the visit, guests can immerse themselves in the world of the Lipizzan horse, explore the stables, and tour the Lipikum Museum, which is dedicated to the stud and the Lipizzan breed.
- Park Skocjanske jame - The Škocjan Caves, a cave system in Slovenia, along with the underground river Reka, represent the most significant natural wonder of the Karst region and one of the world’s largest underground canyons. Recognized for its outstanding importance, the Škocjan Caves were added to UNESCO’s list of natural and cultural world heritage sites in 1986. The vibrant underground realm is adorned with massive stalactites, rushing water, and stunning lakes. Visitors can marvel at the world’s largest underground canyon and cross a bridge situated 40 meters above the subterranean river. The breathtaking view at the cave’s exit is sure to leave a lasting impression. Finally, guests can explore the Škocjan Caves Regional Park, an open-air museum renowned for its ethnological, karstological, geological, and archaeological significance, as well as its natural and cultural heritage. Here, visitors can wander through the park and relish the pristine nature.

Fantastic experience, our... - Fantastic experience, our guide Dean was really friendly, professional and attentive. The horses are both beautiful and impressive while the caves are breathtaking in their size and magnificence. Note you do need a reasonable level of fitness for the caves as there is a lot of walking and many steps are uphill.
