Day 2: Tui to O Porriño
O Porriño - Distance: ~13 km
Activity: Begin the walk by crossing the international bridge over the Minho River. The route is mostly flat, traversing both urban and rural areas.
Day 3: O Porriño to Redondela
Redondela - Distance: ~15 km
Activity: Walk through picturesque rural landscapes and some forested areas. Upon reaching Redondela, enjoy views of the Vigo River.
Day 4: Redondela to Pontevedra
Pontevedra - Distance: ~18 km
Activity: This stage includes some inclines and declines, passing through Arcade and Pontesampaio, featuring the renowned Roman bridge. Pontevedra is a lively city with a delightful historic center.
Day 5: Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis
Caldas de Reis - Distance: ~23 km
Activity: A longer stage, with paths through forests and vineyards. Caldas de Reis is celebrated for its thermal waters.
Day 6: Caldas de Reis to Padrón
Padrón - Distance: ~19 km
Activity: Walk through rural landscapes, arriving in Padrón, known for its peppers and the legend of Santiago’s boat.
Day 7: Padrón to Santiago de Compostela
Santiago de Compostela - Distance: ~25 km
Activity: The final and most thrilling stage. The path becomes more urban as Santiago approaches. Reaching the Praça do Obradoiro and the Cathedral is a deeply moving experience.
Day 8: Santiago de Compostela and Departure
