Giving five stars because... - Giving five stars because Carlos was very personable and knowledgeable. The tour itself was only two stops, and probably should’ve either been less expensive or included another stop.

Porto walking your - Cris was punctual (early actually!) polite, friendly and good humoured. The tour was really interesting, very clear and Chris was very knowledgeable. The history of the wines and the tasting was good - the only disappointment was the tapas. Where it said ‘a variety of tapas’ we only got one, which was disappointing. Other than this it was great and we would recommend Chris as a guide without hesitation. Thank you.

Fun experience - Erica was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She took us to a small port cellar that we never would have found d on our own. We had an interesting tour and tasting. Then we went to a wine bar fo a wine . She recommended s great restaurant for dinner, and wevall loved our meals. Thanks!

More of a walking tour than anything else - This is a good tour to find out about the city and also do a short tasting of two types of port and 3 wines. We were lucky as we had two types of tapas and but I think most people just get the fish balls so I wouldn't really mention tapas in the title as it is misleading. There was only us on the tour so this might be why we had a little extra! The guide was very informative about the city and we enjoyed hearing about the port although that part is very short. There wasn't really any information on the wine.

Fun experience and great tour guide - Erica was a fantastic tour guide. She was very sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating. There was quite a bit of walking on this tour. Since the meeting point was in Porto, the group expected that would be where the tour started. It actually started in Gaia. This was only a concern because we had someone in our group with mobility issues. Erica did not bat an eye and offered right away to call an Uber for her. The first place we visited was absolutely amazing and the wine was fantastic. We feel very fortunate to go there as it was probably not something we would have found on our own. The other place was great also with a much different vibe and experience. The tour is almost all wine with one tapas choice which was very good but participants should not expect to have the tour be their evening meal. I would recommend this tour. The wine experience was fantastic and the tour guide was great. I think we maybe just expected more tapas.

Not a particularly... - Not a particularly enjoyable experience. Only 2 establishments visited, the first a port producer who was more interested in selling their products. Stated that we would be served tapas but had just one croquette.

This tour did NOT include tapas! - The Guide was WONDERFUL and the Port tasting was delicious. Calling the tour a Wine Tasting with Tapas Walking Tour, however. is very misleading. The tapas was a roll with olive oil. We were informed if we wanted anything else from the tapas menu the cost of the items would be added to our bill! This tour did NOT include tapas!

They're tricksters. - They're irresponsible. They cancel at the last minute and no one answers to process your refund. They called me to cancel but they didn't refund me. They outsource other companies that don't respond to you.

Tapas??? - Firstly, the contact person kept on trying to change the time. It was stressful having to deal with this issue as we were still on the train. I had allowed a 3 hour gap for delays, but the tour was changed so that we would miss it. I contacted the help chat, and the tour went ahead as planned. Secondly, the guide was friendly, but the tour was a waste of time. We were taken to a small unknown wine cellar for a really lame tour. Thirdly, we walked to a bar for ONE tapas. The staff at the bar were totally disinterested, gave us a dried cod croquette each, that was tasteless and some wine without any information. I had to go to the bar to ask if I could read the labels on the bottle. All in all the tour didn’t match any of the provider photos nor any of the traveler's photos. It was a huge disappointment and a total waste of time and money.
