At the scheduled time and location, a private guide will warmly welcome visitors to Porto and introduce them to the remarkable sites of one of Europe’s oldest cities. This private half-day city tour of Porto will be led by an expert guide who will drive through the historical center, providing insights into the most significant sites. The tour includes a visit to a renowned Port Wine Cellar in Gaia for a guided tour (shared with other guests), featuring a tasting of various Port Wines.

• Sao Bento Railway Station - Upon disembarking from the transportation, the private guide will escort visitors to the famous São Bento train station to admire the stunning lobby adorned with tiles depicting Portuguese history through the ages.
• Porto Cathedral (Se Catedral) - Another stop will be at the entrance of the Porto Cathedral. This magnificent building is one of the oldest in the city and is located at the birthplace of Porto. From this vantage point, visitors can view the historical city center, the Douro River, and the south shore with its wine lodges.
• Livraria Lello - The Lello bookshop is considered one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. It is also renowned for inspiring author J.K. Rowling in her creation of the Harry Potter universe. Although entrance is not included due to the usual long queue, the guide will provide detailed explanations from the outside, offering a perfect introduction for a later visit on one’s own.
• Vila Nova de Gaia - The guide will drive visitors to Vila Nova de Gaia, where the Wine Lodges are situated. Here, guests will join a guided tour of a renowned Wine Lodge with a local expert guide and enjoy a tasting of various Port Wines. Please note that the Wine Cellar may be substituted with a similar one offering the same experience. The guided visit to the wine cellar is shared with other guests.
