Loved This!!!! - My adult son and I went on a bike tour with Anselmo and we absolutely loved it! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Porto. Anselmo is a lovely host and lots of fun. He quickly assessed our skill level on the bikes and adjusted the tour along the way to challenge us just enough to make us feel proud of our accomplishments riding up and down the hilly cobblestone streets of Porto. Anselmo can take you on regular bikes or on e-bikes, depending on your skill level and preference. I initially thought we would be on e-bikes but we ended up on regular bikes, and I am thrilled that we did the tour that way. It was fantastic exercise, all doable, and a ton of fun. Anselmo is patient and encouraging, and he takes fun pictures and videos along the way so you can remember your adventure. We will definitely reach out to Anselmo when we return to Porto for more fun on bikes and wine tours!

DuckSideOfPorto nice tour - Very nice and humerous local guide. He has a lot to tell about Porto and the history, good e-bikes. Wich is not a luxury! We strongly recommend this guide!

The perfect way to explore hidden corners of Porto - The bike tour with Anselmo is highly recommended. It already started with the great communication beforehand. We were scheduled to cycle with Anselmo on Friday, but on Thursday we had dinner at a restaurant he recommended. That was already a promising start to the bike ride. Anselmo takes you off the beaten track. If you're looking for a ride past all the major city landmarks, he's probably not the guide for you. But if you'd like to cycle along the Romantic Road, enjoy views from a quiet bridge overlooking Porto, and experience something a little different—definitely book with Anselmo. He speaks English well and takes photos of your group during the tour. We would absolutely recommend him!

Day trip - My husband and I had the most fabulous day with Anselmo to the Douro Valley from Porto. He was professional and fun; we learned so much about the area and Portugal in general, including funny stories along the way. We were blown away by the magnificence of the area. Thrilled to visit an authentic small town for local port, coffee, church visit and Anselmo’s local tarts. Visits to vineyards, including lunch were also wonderful experiences. We highly recommend touring with Anselmo.

Great way to see Porto - We had a fabulous morning with Anselmo who had communicated well with us in advance and organised e-bikes (which I do recommend unless you’re very fit - Porto is seriously hilly). Anselmo tailored our tour to the fact that we had already had a walking tour of the inner city and took us to some wonderful places we would never have found ourselves. He knows the city like the back of his hand, shares great stories and facts about it and knows exactly where to take you for the best views. We had a much better impression of Porto after our tour and highly recommended Anselmo for a great upbeat way to spend a few hours.

Great biking tour of Porto and Gaia - We rode with Anselmo on May 15. We had a great time. We had already explored at lot of the old city on foot for a couple of days and were pleased that Anselmo’s plan was to visit other areas. Also we were nervous about having to negotiate biking in the heavy traffic in old city, so were relieved when we didn’t have to. Anselmo was thoughtful in judging our ability to handle some of the terrain (read:steep hills). He seemed to judge us capable because he challenged us with some steep hills! But he also told us he would adjust the tour according to our wishes/comfort/ability. We enjoyed going down some quiet back streets that we wouldn’t have found on our own and Anselmo added a lot of interesting history and commentary. We particularly enjoyed biking across the bridge to Gaia. Great view from that height. Visiting the public laundry washing building where people were washing sheets and rugs in granite tanks was very interesting.
Helmets provided. Bikes in good shape.

You NEED to book this tour !!! - Anselmo took such good care of us! We got to see some of the most authentic, hidden corners of Porto while also hearing historic facts about the city. He will tailor the route to your cycling capabilities and bring a lighthearted energetic vibe to the adventure. Definitely a highlight of our trip!! I can’t recommend this tour enough 🙌🏻

Unique and fun! - Anselmo’s bike tour was everything we could have hoped for. He did a great job of taking us through some back streets we NEVER would have gone and we saw some cool things. He took us on a route few get to see in the beautiful town of Porto Portugal. His knowledge and love of his life's town was just fantastic and heartfelt. Anselmo is also a very fun and likable guy so we enjoyed our time with him. We also appreciated going for a taste of port in a place no other tourists go. Felt very authentic. All in all 5 stars. Cheers
