100% worth it… - Hannah was absolutely amazing! I felt like I was walking around with an old friend. She took me to places that had amazing bites and also informed me about the city as we walked. I couldn’t have asked for more. She even let me practice my horrible Portuguese without laughing in my face.

Great private tour with customized recommendations from a very knowledgeable guide. - Antonio took us on a very enjoyable culinary journey. Based on the preferences we expressed to him, he took us to several locations with a diverse selection of savory and sweet treats and drinks. We really appreciated that he steered us towards authentic items. He also pointed out various sites and provided a lot of historical context. Finally, he gave us a bunch of recommendations for things to do and see, and more important, how to get there. We truly enjoyed this experience and conversing with Antonio along the way.

Porto Food and Wine Experience - Our guide, Miguel was very knowledgeable about the food and wine we tasted. He was also very informative in discussing the history of the area and the regional cuisine. We experienced a variety of tastings which were all wonderful! He was very passionate about his job teaching us about the food / wine available in the area. He was an excellent guide!

Amazing foodies adventure - The tour was a great insight into the local cuisine. Our tour guide was fantastic. The group of eleven mainly British and a couple of Aussies made the most of the tour. Inclusions we’re coffee, cakes, local specialties including sardines, cod, cheeses, smoked hams and sausage, pork rolls and wine companions appropriate to accompany the food. The distances between tastings were well spaced out so one could have time to digest the previous tastings. The final stop for me was the best, a flight of three ports, white, LBV and Tawny. Again food was presented to allow the wines to highlight the food. Our tour guide who is a local was able to provide insider knowledge, and carefully guided us around the town, stopping to ensure all in the group maintained guidance and direction.

Didn't get much food - stops weren't all open or kind of chaotic - Really enjoyed our guide, but we only went to three locations. Our second location was a Port tasting and we were thankful that the chef prepared us some hummus and bread since we had only had a pastel de nata prior. The final stop was soup and a fish cake - but only after walking to another location that was closed. I think Sundays might not be the best day for a food tour due to closures.
