This is an ideal experience for those who wish to see the beautiful Douro Valley without committing to a full day. Enjoy a river cruise on the Douro River, followed by a delightful lunch at a local winery, complete with wine pairing and a Port Wine tasting.
This is the perfect half-day excursion from Porto!
- The tour duration includes the time that the travelers will spend on sightseeing the valley.
- Please make sure that you have breakfast. Keep in mind that we probably will only stop at the first activity. We may not have time to make a coffee break
- Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant’s age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
- This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
- Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability).
- Please be aware that the activities which we visit, such as vineyards are subject to 3rd party availability and other groups/participants may be with the your group during the experience.
- Schedules and Itinerary may change without prior notice.
- We only serve alcoholic drinks for travelers 18 years old and above. Minor travelers below 18 years old will be served non-alcoholic drinks.

Great Douro tour with Tiago and Lucas! - We had an amazing time with Tiago and Lucas. Tiago was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable, funny and engaging. Was fun for our children and our parents!

Incredible Way to See and Learn About the Douro Valley - Thiago was incredible - friendly, full of knowledge, and engaging with everyone in my group! Lucas was excellent too! I loved learning about the Douro Valley, Porto, and the wine industry during the bus ride to our destination!

Highly recommended Douro Trip - It was a fun and informative experience. Every asoect of the tour was wonderful: the transportation, driving, commentary, boat ride, tasting, food and conversation.

Worth every penny - Excellent tour, rain meant the cruise didn't happen, so had an extra visit to taste wine and Port.

Excellent wine tour in the Douro Valley - We had a wonderful day, despite the weather-related changes. We weren’t able to do the Douro river cruise due to flooding. We had an extra wine tasting instead! Thanks Tiago and Lucas for a fantastic tour. We learned so much about the beautiful Douro Valley and the excellent wines produced there.

Highly recommend this tour! - The tour was perfect! Pedro met us and immediately started telling us about everything we passed. It is amazing to pass through the tunnel and enter an entirely different looking Portugal! It had snowed prior to us getting there which made it even more beautiful! The two locally owned wineries were outstanding! They were so attentive and informational! The River cruise was a scenic and relaxing way to end our tour. Definitely recommend this tour!
