• Porto - An expert guide will pick you up from your hotel, accommodation, or meeting point and drive you to the renowned Douro region. During the journey, the guide will share insights into Portuguese history, development, and cultural heritage. Midway through the drive to the Douro Region, there will be a brief stop for a coffee break.
• The Douro Valley - Welcome to the Douro Region, celebrated for its valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the oldest demarcated wine region, featuring unique vineyard landscapes and the enchanting Douro River, providing the perfect backdrop for a day of exceptional wine tastings.
• Sabrosa - Upon arriving in Sabrosa, the first visit of the day will commence. Explore the first of two wineries, where you will learn about the wine production and history of the Douro Region and its wines. There will be an opportunity to taste various wines before lunch. A complete lunch will be served at the end of the visit, featuring a full traditional Portuguese meal with an appetizer, main dish, dessert, and pairing with Douro red or white wine.
• Pinhão - It’s time to set sail! Enjoy a 50-minute scenic cruise on the Douro River departing from Pinhão aboard a traditional Rebelo boat.
• N222 - National Road 222: Drive along the most beautiful road in the world. Did you know that one of the most beautiful roads in the world is in Portugal? It’s the Estrada Nacional 222, which leads you to discover the incredible Douro wine region. During the tour, this amazing road will be traversed, highlighting the most scenic views.
• Folgosa - The wine tour continues! There is still time to visit another renowned winery. The winery’s expert guide will lead you through the estate, explaining the process from vineyard to bottle, concluding with a magnificent tasting of three different types of wines.
