  • Porto - Your expert guide will collect you from your hotel/accommodation or meeting point and will drive you to the renown Douro region.
    On your way to the Douro, the guide will give you insights regarding the Portuguese history, development and cultural facts of portuguese heritage.
    Half Way through the drive to the Douro Region we will do a short stop for a coffee break.

  • The Douro Valley - Welcome to the Douro Region, famous for it’s valley, Unesco World Heritage site, the oldest demarked wine region with
    unique landscapes of vineyards and the magical Douro river giving you the perfect background for a day of amazing wine tastings.

  • Sabrosa - Arriving in Sabrosa we will do our first visit of the day.
    We will discover the first of two wineries where you learn about the wine production and history of Douro Region, and its wines.
    You will have the oportunity to taste different wines before the lunch.
    A complete lunch will be served by the end of the visit: a full traditional portuguese meal with entrance, main dish, dessert, pairing with Douro red or white wine.

  • São Cristóvão do Douro - After lunch we will drive through the windy Douro roads on the way to Pinhão and we will do a quick photo stop at one of the most impressive viewpoints of the region. Enjoy the views and share with your friends and collegues on social media!

  • Pinhao - It’s now time to sail! Enjoy a 50 minutes scenic cruise on the Douro river departing from Pinhão on board of a traditional Rebelo boat.

  • N222 - National Road 222: drive through the most beautiful road in the world
    Did you know that one of the most beautiful roads in the world is Portuguese? We talk about the Estrada Nacional 222, which takes you to discover the incredible Douro wine region.
    On our tour will pass on this amazing road and point out the most scenic views.

  • Folgosa - Our wine tour is not over yet! There is time to visit one more renown Winery. The winery expert guide will walk you through the estate ,explaining the process from the vinyard to the bottle ending with a magnificent tasting of three different types of wines.

This outstanding tour allows you to explore two of the region’s top wineries, absorbing the ambiance of this key wine region. Enjoy the chance to gather insights about the history of the vineyards and witness the end-to-end wine production process, all in the founding site of Porto Wine. Experience the ‘birthplace’ of this singular nectar! As you traverse the tour, savor six wine tastings against the backdrop of amazing landscapes and tranquil vistas of the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. A total-package deal is inclusive of guided tours to 2 unique wineries with tastings, a full traditional meal paired with Douro wines, and a scenic 50-minute cruise along the Douro River.

Worth the day trip if you're in Porto - Was a wonderful experience to visit the wineries. I think we did not get as much wine as I thought we would, but I'm not a huge wine drinker anyhow. Did not feel like there were any forced sales at any part of the trip either. The lunch was good (with wine of course), as was the boat ride along the river. The history lesson was compact. Plenty of areas to take great photos

Day trip to Douro - Absolutely brilliant day out. Really good value for money, meal at lunchtime was excellent. Diego was a great guide, really entertaining and Silvino was a truly professional driver. If I had one small criticism it would be the poor quality air conditioning. Even so thoroughly recommend.

Great day trip filled with lots of wine and interesting history! - We had a great time with the Douro Valley wine tour! Orlando was super nice and fantastic with giving us information and history about the area as we drove to the valley. We also loved the wine and lunch. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great tour if not looking for super intimate experience - Our guide, Ines, is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met! She was helpful whenever needed and kept great energy the whole day. Good concise tours of the wineries and a great lunch that is very fun with the group

Wonderful day in the Douro Valley - Totally recommend this tour. The wineries especially were beautiful and the lunch and bottomless bottles of wine were exceptional. Our guide Maria was super friendly and full of wonderful information. Our driver Sena, drove very safely.

Douro Valley from Porto - My visit to the Douro Valley from Porto was amazing. We started with a tour of a beautiful winery, exploring the vineyards and wine cellars. The wine tasting was fantastic, with a variety of reds, whites, and ports. Orlando was very knowledgeable and shared great insights about the wines and the region. Lunch at the winery's restaurant was delicious, with dishes made from fresh, local ingredients, perfectly paired with their wines. I highly recommend a wine tasting and lunch in the Douro Valley to anyone visiting Porto.

Great day in the Duoro Valley - Fantastic day trip into a gorgeous region. The tour guide Rita was excellent, with a fun personality and great local knowledge. Thanks also to Marco the bus driver who also did a great job. Excellent song list too!! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day!

Stunning Douro Valley - Great well organised tour guided by Paulo and our driver Fernando. Paulo was knowledgable and freindly and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto. The Douro Valley was stunning.

Nice trip through the Douro valley. - Nice trip through the vineyards of the Douro valley. Comfortable bus with driver Ricardo and a nice guide Jose M. The boat tour was oke. There was enough wine to taste and to drink with the lunch. Although we had a nice day, I think the trip is a little bit too expensive.
