• Porto - Begin the tour from your hotel or accommodation in Porto Downtown.

Note: Please provide your address at the time of booking or a few days before the tour, otherwise a meeting point will be arranged.

• PICK-UP IS LIMITED TO THE PORTO DOWNTOWN AREA. We DO NOT offer pick-up from Vila Nova de Gaia, Matosinhos, the Porto coastal area, or other locations outside the city center.
• Peso Da Regua - Whenever possible, we make a stop at the city of Peso da Régua, a historic city in the Douro Valley known for its wine trade. Here, guests receive a brief explanation about the city and have some free time for coffee and photos.
• Quinta do Tedo - Quinta do Tedo is one of the wineries we may visit on our tour. During this visit, you will learn about the wine-making process at Quinta do Tedo with a local guide. It includes a guided wine tasting session where the different wines to be tasted are explained.

• The Douro Valley - In the heart of the Douro Valley, you will have the opportunity to visit Pinhão. In the past, Pinhão was a significant hub for the trade and transport of wine from Douro to Porto. The wine was first sold and then shipped in the traditional Rabelo boat to age in Vila Nova de Gaia, just across the river in Porto. In the village of Pinhão, we stop for a 1-hour river cruise and have lunch at a traditional local restaurant.

• Quinta do Beijo - Quinta do Beijo is another winery we may visit on our tour. This small local winery offers excellent wines that are not available in the city. The visit is typically conducted by the owner of the property, who shares insights about the production and flavors of the wines.

• Porto - We return to Porto from the Douro Valley around 6:00 PM, where our guide will drop you off at your chosen location.
• Douro River - The Douro River provides a scenic backdrop for most of the tour. The wineries visited offer stunning views of the river.

• NOTE TO TRAVEL AGENCIES: While we understand that your office may be closed when we send our confirmations due to different timezones if you do not provide the client’s direct contact number/email, you are responsible for contacting the client at the time we send the pick-up details (day before the tour takes place, by the end of the day, UNTIL 23:00 PM, PORTUGAL TIME) - Travel Agencies assume responsibility if the client does not show up due to the lack of communication between them.
• Weather Note: All of our activities happen in covered and protected spaces - we guarantee a safe and comfortable tour despite any weather conditions.
• You can also be picked up from a private address other than hotels in Porto downtown area/city center only (Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos cities are outside pick-up limits).
• If your address is or in an area of difficult access (examples: pedestrian street/narrow street/place with very elevated traffic volume) we will set a meeting point a few minutes away so that you can board our van.
• Not recommended for children - if you are bringing children, please inform us in advance, as car seating is mandatory by Portuguese law.
• Possibility of vegetarian or gluten free meal, please advise at time of booking if required;
• Douro Valley’s temperature is very high in the summer and cold in the winter. Thus, light clothes in summer and warm clothes in the winter are recommended;
• We send the exact pick-up time by mail the evening before the tour takes place - please confirm reception of message and be ready in advance for pick-up to avoid delays or missing the tour.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
